  We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during our journey around the West Coast and had a pleasant stay at this hotel. We stayed on the second floor which had a small dining area and outside patio which we used alot. The room was a bit on the small side but had everything we needed and was clean. Location is great. It is at the bottom of Lombard str... what people say » eet so you go straight up the giant mountain of a hill to the crooked street. If you're able I would recommend trying to walk up and down this at leas - As a mom traveling with 2 teenagers, I thought this was a great place. It's an older hotel that could use updating, but it's clean, staff is friendly and it has free parking. It's perfect if you do not plan on spending a lot of time in your room. We left every morning by 9am and came back around 7pm, so it was perfect for the amount of time we spent there. It was a 10-15 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf and 4 blocks to the top of Lombard where it becomes the crookedest street. Easy walk to catc

  It was much quieter than staying downtown, with easy access to the bus and not far from Golden Gate Park by car. Good restaurants within an easy walk. It's not a luxury hotel, but perfectly adequate and well cared for. Parking is limited, but it wasn't hard to find a spot in that neighborhood. - Friendly personnel, location, beds

  A lot better than the other hotel in SF that I stayed in before. Good - Big rooms with with big comfortable king size beds, clean and tidy, good location, just 3min walk from a bus stop (15min bus ride to the Fisherman's Wharf/City Center), a lot of restaurants/laundromats/shops in the vicinity of the hotel, view on Golden Gate Bridge from your roo... what people say » m's windows, big parking, excelent value for money.

  - Breakfast was included and our car was parked in the garage - San Francisco is such a beautiful city - We visited the city by cable car - It has a lot of different landmarkes - We had beautiful weather - The staff were great, they were friendly as well as going out of their way to accommodate us.   The staff was very friendly and flexible when our plans changed. Parking facility was excellent and secure. - The room was super clean, oversized and the tub drained!! :) Parking was limited but free! The free coffee was better than Starbucks! The hotel is only a block from the bus to get to Pier 39.

  The location was great because we were within walking distance to the palace of fine arts and some parks, restaurants, and a movie theater. Public transportation was right around the corner as well. - Location was great and staff helped plan my travels very friendly
