The added bonus of having a smoking room where we could leave the window open without giving up our privacy was a major convenience.   Clean. Location. A mix up with our reservation: we'd booked 2 rooms, but they only had one reserved. They do overbook and hotel was full. I produced my Bookings.com paper-work and it was sorted. A bit unnerving tho' - glad we arrived at 4 p.m. and not at 11 p.m. The receptionist (Maria) was excellent. Close proximity to Union Square / Cable Car and city shopping and ofcourse the easy access from SFO Airport via the BART. $10 return trip each was a steel. Hotel staff excellent. Room was perfect - high floor with views and the bestest 2 x Queens - very very comfortable

As a guest, you get a discount at the adjoining cafe, which providing a convenient breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They held my bags at the front desk after I checked out, while I got my rental car. The location can't be beat, right in the heart of the Cit - Ideally situated for everything. In Union Square in 2 minutes and easy access to all forms of transport. Staff were friendly and helpful and the diner next door excellent. Everything on the doorstep. Being in the city centre meant it was noisy at night but earplugs were provided. We slept very well without resorting to them. Very happy with it all and thoroughly recommend the hotel.

  Good and a clean place for the money. The staff were courteous and it is a simple and an inexpensive place to stay if you want something on a low budget.
