i appreciated the assistance given to me by zai, registration counter in giving me directions in safekeeping lockers in 34th Penn station as well as assisted me in how to transfer my photos from my cmera to my USB. he went an extra mile to help out. i am thankful :). A modern reasonably priced hotel, a 20 minute subway ride to times square, A couple of short blocks from the subway 7 line.Good breakfast and a limited amount of free parking.Nexdoor to a 7/11 with a short walk to multiple diners and services.

Less than a 5 minute walk from a station on the 7 line. great for the city. If you want to do Manhattan and can't afford the centre this is ideal. Rooms are nice, good deal really. It is Not far to Manhattan - but the Taxis Or AirPort Shuttles are not going to pick u up at This Hotel :/. Do not have the service about baggage deposit in case of we have the evening flight.. Staff not overly friendly and sometimes hard to understand (I had a problem with the hotel charging my card twice for my stay and it took me quite some time to solve it with the receptionist). Some cheese or lunch meat at breakfast would be nice. Towels could be better, using some softener would be nice - at least to give them a pleasant smell. But these are minor issues. There was a lot of traffic and subway noise through the night, but it's not impossible to sleep through. The room was too small for 4 people trying to get ready each morning. It was a little dirty, but what cheap hotel isn't?. Not posible to sit down at the breakfest area, too few seats. No Luggage room free off charge ( asked me 50usd ). ・My girlfriend and I stayed on the first floor and it was quite loud. I always heard someone talking in the lobby and the noise of the elevators. This hotel is just to go to sleep. ・The room was small for 2 people. There were only little space to put baggages and to open them. ・Dinning area was so small. I saw some guest standing and eating breakfast. ※Considering these points, 150$ a night is quite expensive. No adequate insulation against outside noise coming from the metro. A cable with exposed wires was dangling from the A/C unit. Frosty reception from staff. Not able to store luggage for a short period of time - a serious inconvenience. My safe didn't work. The heat didn't work nor did the blowdryer. They didn't fix any of this nor would they give me any type of compensation for this. Small rooms and loud doors. noise from the subway. I made my reservation (and payd for it) two months before my arrival, Notwithstanding, thei tried to accomodate me in the basement. This is innaceptable and I made it clear explicitely enough to have the room changed, Otherwise I will not stay in the hotel. Last day the room was not cleaned No place for the breakfast the room too small No blankets enough. The towels were not clean. We could not sleep at all because the subway is too close and the window was broken, it was not closed properly.If you decided to stay at days inn ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. Too small room for breakfast. they would not let us leave our bags even for a few hours! except for until 13.00 hours for a cost of 50 USD per hour, ridiculous I have stayed in many properties over the past few months, this is the only place where this have happened to me. The room had no place to put our luggages. Generally speaking the space is so small that we felt reluctant to walk around. We booked a king room at first but the bed was a full size. The staff insisted that the bed was a king. Later we switched to a 2 full size room and realized that the beds were the same size as before. It was obvious that to them all beds are the same sizes. Open wire on the wall, lamp light were falling down. Internet slow (allways less than 0,5 G/s) The hotel do not extend the check out time and do not keep your luggage after it, You have to leave the hotel premises with your bags at noom. They allways insists in give you a room in the basemente (without windows). The mannageer says that he "has 12 rooms there and need to rent them". You have to insist a lot to get a decent room.
