Overall our stay was very pleasant. I am not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from but we did not have any issues with this hotel. The staff was very friendly. We stayed three nights and asked that we not be disturbed and they granted that request. When we needed towels they were given. Right on the Parkway. The site said continental breakfast. If anyone knows what that is then you will know that they really didn't even have to provide the waffles. The breakfast area was small but we w.
all reviews » It`s conviently located, great views, still be remodeled from being bought from Family Inns so the room my brother and I stayed in hadn`t been redone yet. The bathroom has some minor needed repairs the bath tub shower didn`t work could only take baths not showers the walls need some minor repairs, the carpet needs replacing but overall it was an awesome room and clean. Would strongly recommend staying at this hotel. We booked a 3 bedroom room (which is very rare to find and was told it's the only hotel in Pigeon Forge that has those rooms). The bed was very comfortable and the location was quiet, even though it's right on the strip. The front desk staff on check-in was very helpful and gave us excellent information. There is nothing I can complain about. The parking lot is kind of small, but the back overflow lot is nice, it could use more lighting but overall its great. The elevator needs lots of work. There was a sign posted on the elevator door that said not to hold the door open for long or the elevator would overheat and shut down. The hotel needed some minor cosmetic work but in no way effected my stay. Staff wasn't really on it, we asked for coffee the entire time we were there and never got any! I ha to go buy some, not sure why they provide a coffee pot and don't leave coffee in the room. Also had slow reaction time when we asked for towels, and worst of all they were Doug construction (redoing the rooms) which would've been okay, but they worked all the way up to midnight and they were really loud!. Lack of parking space within the hotel grounds. We had to park behind the hotel in a lot across the street. Couch sitn on walkway. Shouldve moved out of sight immediately. Small breakfast area. One staff member late at night called my cell phone repeatedly after the office closed, but mgmt. Addressed it. The Wi-Fi kept going out, but there were storms everywhere. Not their fault. Wifi a little weak in back two rooms but front room strong signal. Needed to be some upgrades Mini fridge was not very good Pullout couch did not have sheets or pillows We got what we paid for Pool was cloudy and cold Only 1 remote for 3 tvs. Nothing. the breakfast had very little options and not enough for guest. Suite was designed for six people and there wasn't really enough supplies for six people. Example: one small packet of shampoo and two small bars of soap. After two showers, no soap or shampoo. The internet was down the entire stay. The parking. they are remodeling and caused a little inconvenience for parking and noisy. no irons or ironing boards in the room. The parking was the only issue. They do not have anywhere to park. Had to park at the bank next door, so thank goodness the bank was closed on the weekends otherwise I do not know where anyone would park. rooms were outdated. Our room was kinda dark. The WiFi wasn't working. The renovations made the Inn look "sad" and pathetic. The furniture had some places where the pillows on the coach was ripped. The granite was rough and not installed or fabricated to suit the building. It looked like a scruffy place from the outside with even more unsatisfactory scribbles and scratches in the elevator. Nobathmat. Bathtub stopper or tv guide. needed some updates and repairs. Breakfast was part of the price but there was no where to sit and eat it (had a VERY limited table and chairs in a VERY small room) for all quests. The last morning there the other guest woke us up and was loud. Rooms could've been Alittle cleaner. The breakfast area was small and it needed a better variety of breakfast items. Location of the room we stayed in was not very good had no windows and was back in a corner at the very end of the hotel. Fire alarm was activated rowdy guest and disturbed us. having to leave and go back home. We needed a iron in the room. it didn't have a outside pool. older than pictures lead u to believe. not that many close parking spots. The freezer needed defrosted. The offered to do it but we had other things in there that we couldn't leave out. The tv's and it was not up to date. breakfast could have been better the hot breakfast was waffles. Not enough parking spots. Most everything!! The mattresses are worn out. The carpet is worn out. The shower curtain would not close all the way as the curtain rod was bent. Water would go all over the floor and wet everything! The swimming pool is cold and not attractive area. The room didn't look like the pic's on the website! Their was No hbo! The Tv's Are Old & The picture show fuzzy! The Mattress Was Way Too Hard :-( No dvd Player!x! The room just look dark & dirty! Need new furniture or have the furniture cleaned!. We had reservations,yet we had no room when we arrived.The air unit was in the 1st bedroom ONLY,it was very HOT.There were no vents,so you couldn't feel the air.We should've found a better hotel.The pool was very small and smelled terrible from too much chlorine. The free breakfast consisted of2 sugary cereals and waffles,not our idea of breakfast. Not the cleanest hotel, needs a good spring cleaning and vaccumed. The breakfast didn't have much variety. The beds and bedding left much to be desired, they were corse and scratchy - not soft or comfortable. There were no extra blankets or pillows, and they were flat pillows at that The soap felt like it had sand in it, and the shampoo and conditioner were little packets. The heating in the two bedroom suite we stayed in was not working properly and heating unit very noisy. Room wasn't clean; beer bottles and popcorn were left behind from previous renter. Room smelled of cigarette smoke. There were not enough towels or blankets. Many things were in disrepair. Pool area was not well-kept. Elevator was slow and rickety. Breakfast was minimal and not well-presented. The bed was very uncomfortable. The night staff was very rude.. We felt like we were an inconvience to her. The indoor pool was COLD!!!. Needed lots of updates. I plugged hairdryer in and the light over sink went out and never came back on and hairdryer didn't work. I was leaving that day so they didn't come check it out. Pictures online must have been taken years ago. Some people running up an down the halls. The beds were hard, the floor was not vacuumed. The spa tub was chipping and leaked. The house keeper walked right in on us even though check-in was at 2, we check in at 4. The room should have been cleaned before 2 to ensure check-in was ready.
