    This is a nicely decorated hotel with updated facilities and very comfortable bedding. Well appointed, richly decorated, compact rooms. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. The pool and courtyard area is beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast is delicious with many food options from which to choose. The rooms are semi luxurious with nice bathrooms, comfy big beds and a big tv. The lobby is nice with computers you can use for free. The bar and pool are are great for a relaxing beer.     The staff greeted us from the door man to food staff when we came thru the lobby to get to our rooms. My gosh! The view of the river was glorious especially at dawn and dusk when the tug boats and the cruise ship floated passed my window as we planned our" quick spend weekend and a day in new Orleans .The food was wonderful and the staff was eager... what people say » to answer and recommend places eat and fun paces to see near the river.Hotel is beautiful in side and the room was more than we expected of luxury ho - Everything..We checked in and was told only a double-double was available when I had prior requested a king. We were there to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary and Drew who checked us in got very busy searching for other accomodations for us. We ended up in the tower suite with a murphy bed. I had heard those could be uncomfortable,but let me tell you the one in the Marriott, was more comfortable than most king size beds we have stayed in at other hotels. Definitely recommend this hote

    I liked the fact that the hotel was very well maintained and quiet although it was located very close to the busy section of the French Quarter, which I also liked. I also liked the public parking garage that was very close by and cost much less than the hotel's price of $30 per night for parking on the premises. - Very Quiet and clean.     Manager Nathanial was very helpful over mixup in booking and lack of 2nd queen bed that should have been in room. Hotel is 2 minute walk (1 block) from famous Bourbon Street in French quarter and 5 minutes from Mississippi River. - Location modern, nice lobby/bar

    Great staff made us feel welcome and very helpful with all our questions. It was a joy to meet and chat with the staff at this hotel, would stay here again! Very close to French Quarter, cruise terminal everything was within walking distance, safe area to stay at. - The staff was friendly, and the place was clean.     The staff was great. Very helpful in my planning my day. Very friendly and enjoyable to just talk too. They knew great places to eat and see. The hotel is in a good location. Close to the things I wanted to see and transportation. The hotel prices are affordable for people on a budget. I enjoyed my stay.     I liked that it was in a quiet street but only a five minute walk from the hub of activity. I absolutely loved the Ruby Slipper right next door for breakfast every morning, why go anywhere else!! This place rocks!! The hotel has a general laid back feeling and Thomas at reception was a most helpful and genuine guy. A gold star for him! Or perhaps ... what people say » a payrise, he deserves it! I've stayed all over in my time, I ain't too fussy, I loved this place, I'd stay again.good luck! - wonderful staff made you feel at home -- very helpful and joyful -- kept the room clean while we were there for 5 days -- had great recommendations and were interested in your adventures in New Orleans; and best of all the whole hotel is non-smoking!!!!!! and you can't beat the location -- access to all of NOLA at your fingertip! Can jump on any streetcar to take you around town; walking distance to French Quarter; Warehouse District and the Riverfront.

    The hotel was really nice and in perfect location near the French quartet but still far enough from all the noise of Bourbon Street. For our surprise, the hotel offered free complimentary breakfast for each morning which was really good. The staff was helpful and helped us to book a nice swamp tour. Although the room was a bit small and we did have noisy neighbors, the overall experience in that price was exc - Location was excellent, staff very helpful and friendly, good breakfast. As part of a package that was purchased online we went on a 4 day cruise and had 2 nights at the Hyatt Regency. The nights at Cotton Exchange were an add on that we purchased on our own. We preferred the Cotton Exchange by far. We wouldn't hesitate to come again and recommend it to our friends. Not so of the Hyatt. We would never go there again. Your staff is really excellent!

    Staff was friendly! Loved the property. Terrence, the chef at the on-site restaurant went above & beyond for us at breakfast!! Loved the Southern hospitality!! - The staff was exceptional. They greeted me and my party with a warm smile. They made us feel welcome from the moment we pulled up to the hotel.

    I liked that the rooms were spacious and more like a small apartment. I liked the made to order omelets and breakfast buffet and the early evening drinks. Hurricanes are now a favorite. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If you do not want to go looking for a restaurant, then there is one in the hotel.     The location is close enough that I never had to drive anywhere, me and my fiance were able to walk everywhere anytime of day and be safe! Some of the best eateries in New Orleans where with in a easy 5 minute walk! The hotel is clean, looks beautiful, clean, and most of the staff was pretty friendly and helpful. Speaking of staff, if a man name... what people say » d Kevin is working there get to know him, he was helpful and friendly. We have decided we will stay here again on our next trip! - Night clerk (Eustice) was one of the most friendly & helpful clerks that I have ever seen at any hotel. He always called us by name. He always asked if there was anything else he could do for us & even offered to refund taxi fare when the cabbie dropped me off at the wrong Hilton! Great man--don't lose him.

    I had a nice time staying at the Residence Inn on March 1st, 2013. I wish I could have stayed longer but my funds would not let me. But overall it was a nice experience and I would recommend this place to anyone and of course I will be returning to the Residence Inn in the near future or sooner. - We really liked the facilities although next time... what people say » we will request 2 bathrooms.

    Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Both Valet and Front desk were always prompt and willing to help. Hotel is in a great location. I would not stay anywhere else. Accommodations were clean and very comfortable. Hotel has a great pool. Valet is $34 a day. I would like to give a special thanks to the young man at the valet and Roy at the fron... what people say » t desk! - Loved the location. Was able to walk to the Superdome for the game. Able to walk to or was picked up at the hotel for all excursions. It's far enough away from Bourbon Street to be able to sleep with no noise and close enough to be on Bourbon Street to walk there in minutes. It's about a 20 minute walk to Frenchman Street. I would stay there again.
