The staff was very nice and helpful. Our iron in the room was not working and immediately someone brought a new one to our room. Our room was neatly cleaned every day. The hotel provides towels and beach chairs for the beach. The food at the hotel was great especially the strawberry margaritas!! I loved the Beacon Hotel and I would definitely stay there again!!. The room was beautiful and the bed huge. It was ideally placed on MiamiSouth Beach.

The location, the hotel style, the beacon staff is great alwayssmililing, careful, playing with children and always worried about ourconfort. During 21 days, no issue met and no bad behaviour from anymember of the staff. For sure we come back to Beacon if we'll comeback to Miami. The bed, and ice cold a/c. close to the beach, nice restaurants in neighbourhood, fresh beachtowels, valet parking, nice terrace and diner, fresh coffee and tea in morning. Sadly no one could not care less at the moment we entered the hotel - had to stand and receive parking place on the street by my self to our car until someone finally came to help. Staff from restaurant which do not belong to hotel hanging in front of hotel and almost closing you way in to hotel. Minimalistic breakfast included from 9h!!!- do not waist your time.Toilets did not flush well.Breakfast at the Johnny Rocket the next door restaurant, where somewaiters are not very kind (excepting Laura and Jermaine who were great). bathroom was too small for two persons. The lift is too small, even for two people with two suitcases. It isalso really slow. The shower handle broke on the 1st night, we were thenmoved to a room which we were told was exactly the same as the 1 we werein but it clearly wasn'T. It was smaller and it was a level down so itwas much noisier, the bar fridge had out of date products in it, which Ionly noticed when I opened a packet. We had 2 rooms but there was a bad smell coming through Air con from the back lane in the room on 1st floor, 4th floor room ok. Taxes and parking add an extra $30 a night.air condition too cold. We thought it was a litle pricey for what you got, night staff werenot helpful. Breakfast next door was not a good experience,slow poor service and poor quality of food. No Blind on the bathroom to keep out the light from the road. Rooms are very small, showers provide only very little water, the roomwas noisy, price is absurd compared to what you get. the size of rooms. I make a remark on my reservation, that we gonna pay cash by arrival.Beause we booked 2 rooms with friends. When we arrive they charge theprice from our creditcard. No discussion. Last day miami, no back inbelgium with our dollars. The breakfast in johnny rockets was repugnant.Rooms very small, bathroom in the corner of the shower there was mould.The room that we supposed to get was given to another guest, andalthough we specifically mentioned it was our honeymoon nothing wasrespected. Awful!! Not client minded and not respecting their promises.Worst experience! Stay away from them!!.
