  Location and view were unbelievable! All staff were very helpful and friendly. Warnings of bear activity all over the lodge were appreciated. Food in the hotel's Aspenglow Restaurant was incredibly good, and a value, considering this is the interior of Alaska. Also, by Alaska standards, the room rate was a bargain.   Upon arrival (having booked two rooms, one for friends travelling with us) we were advised that there was only one booking, the other had been cancelled and there were no rooms available! Staff kindly gave us both a complimentary upgrade to their sister hotel on top of mountain, Denali Grande, which was fantastic! Somehow our names got switched ar... what people say » ound too, our friends First name attached to our surname, bit of a shambles at reception and it took over an hour before we were settled in our room, - The staff at the front desk were great about giving recommendations on what to do while in Denali Park. There was this one staff member who was most helpful and courteous. She had these amazing eyes where her irises were extremely large. (Sounds weird but looked amazing.)

  It was a great cabin. It had the feeling of camping, but felt safe and secure and not ate alive by mosquito's. Very peaceful, we really enjoyed our stay. - Isolated but presented excellent value for money Excellent restaurant with drinks available- reasonable sized portions.
