Good value. rest on overnight from Paris. being close to the airport was excellent and the cleaniness was very high standard. the restaurant and the service at the front desk.Reasonably priced for the area. Easy access to LAX. Airport shuttle service. Nice Persian restaurant around the courner. Room was adequate for a short stay. Its position close to the airport was ideal as was its shuttle service.
all reviews » Close proximity to LAX and car hire. We only stayed one night, arriving late and leaving early, so it is difficult to say much about the hotel. The hotel lobby is a little uninspiring, but the rooms were nice and it was really cheap. Perfect for when you just need somewhere to sleep between flights.The flexibility of a late check out. Ease of checkout. close to airport. Closeness to airport and availability and reliability of shuttle bus. bed was fine. proximity to LAX. proximity to destination. We had not been informed thatthe hotel was undergoing reburbishment. The windows were very dirty and there was dust everywhere. Shuttle bus did not go to airport regularly in the evening,we had totake a cab,did not know we had to call to get ride.everything looks very old (furniture, restrooms, elevators, carpets.. etc.). Room a little worn, carpet a little worn. Poor eating facilities on site.Huge air con units outside our room were a little noisy. Bordering on getting into a nasty area of la. I didn't like to hear that there was a room safe charge of $13.50/ night which wasn't noted when I made the booking. We had hoped that desk staff would have information as to whether there were delays on flights etc. but they had no knowledge or interest. many issues. i arrived at night from the airport, and did not have american cash to pay the taxi, i only had canadian money. i asked the desk person to give me $20 dollars for the cab and put it on my credit card please. she looked at me like i was a bank robber and said no. i complained and she told me to go back to the airport and use an atm. i was furious. The Restaurant...needs to have a variety of food...and updated. old carpet, staff inattention at first reception. The matress on the bed was new and comfortable.the front desk service and the airport pick up was not as described in the webb site -- none of us knew we had to ring to be picked up and 5 waited for nearly 90 min. while other hotel pick ups called reguñarly.
