I've stayed at Vdara before and I really enjoyed this trip too.
First off, we checked in earlier than normal check-in and we got
upgraded to a Corner King Suite which was huge, spacious! There was a
full kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, separate bathroom, washer and dryer

The hotel had beautiful design both inside and out. The rooms were
finished to a high standard. The hotel is ideally located for exploring
rest of the strip but a haven for escaping the noise also. The staff
were helpful and we were upgraded on our second night to a executive
room as we were on our honeymoon. We were also given champagne and
strawberries upon returning from our trip to the grand canyon booked
through the hotel. The upgrade was to a corner room so we had 270 degree

I cannot rate the staff because we had 2 experiences, one bad, one
great. The first woman we checked in with was just snotty-attempting to
be business like, but really, was a b----. Wouldn't give us a good
rate, so we made reservations from Booking right then and there. Then,

The staff were excellent to deal with. We stayed for 2 days then away a night before returning for another 4 and they allowed us to view a different room first so we could check in straight away. As it turned out, we wanted the same room we had before so they made that happen and recognised the room had just been released so we could checkin right then. The facilities were exactly what we needed for a long stay. The housekeeping was also excellent as was the heated pool.

This place was fantastic! We stayed only one night and my only regret is that we didn't stay the whole week. It was a little bit of a drive to the strip but it is worth it. The staff was excellent. The rental was spacious and accommodating. The
stay was quiet with easy access to any where we wanted to go. Shopping
was close, within walking. The grounds were pleasing. I definitely
recommend this place for someone that wants room and easy access for
RedRocks along with peace and quiet. The pool, hot tub, exercise room,

We were thrilled with the Wyndham Grand Desert! Highlights were the mini-kitchen including a DISHWASHER, in-unit washer/dryer, separate bedroom, and lovely pool area. This is my second time staying here and both times have been a wonderful experience. The rooms are great and we loved that the bathroom had a spa tub and there was a kitchen fully equipped for your choice to cook or not. The pool is great and the bar/café is a nice place to hang and have some cocktails. We really enjoyed Debbie (behind the bar) she is a hoot...had some laughs with her. We highly recommend this resort!
