The rooms were really nice and the beds were super comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The on-site gym was under repair during my visit but they provided guest aces to the YMCA gym just around the corner. ironically that was one of the highlights of my trip as the Y had one of the best retired weight rooms I have seen in a long time. -
... what people say » On calling manager regarding problems with room he quickly had the room with king size cleaned and made available. Complimentary drinks and snacks in bar until room ready. Complimentary breakfasts for two days. Problem with toilet on third day repaired straight away. Staff very courteous and friendly.

1. the location is perfect! USS Midway museum is whithin 5 minutes walk distance, Seaport Villiage, 15 minutes of walk, other places of interests, e.g. Seaworld, Bolboa park and San Diego Zoo, are easy connected either by the free shuttle or the quick-'n'-easy public transportations.

Everything! I was blown away with the beauty of the lobby! The staff was wonderful, our room was fantastic, (corner king), the food was good (pulled pork was best I've had in ages!), and the views were gorgeous. I loved how close it was to so many areas of SD. The pool area (with the firepits at night!) looked wonderful, but it was so windy so we didn't stay. I also loved the old pictures throughout the hotel. If you are from SD it was particularly super to see them.
