    Most everything was positive. Comfort, location, staff were all great. Breakfast service was timely and delicious. - Loved the deck. We chose not to run around sight seeing and instead spent several hours just watching the harbor goings on, Mr. Ranier and the Olympic Mountains. It was memorable.

You cannot beat this location - the train to the airport stops close, all shops.

When he found out why I was there. He gave us a upgrade plus a great deal on the room. He said That he wanted us to have a great time.     The location. The room was nice ans the bathroom was great but the shower was a bit small. The sitting room was nice and lots of closet space.     The Spa was excellent and personnel very professional. We enjoyed the upgrade to the suite. The concierge was very helpful as was the front desk. When I had left my hat (Howard) they did find it and I was able to later pick it up. Much appreciated. Enjoyed lunch and coffee in the lobby areas.     Of the 4 hotels we stayed in on this 2week trip, Vintage Park was the best. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and went out of their way to assist with whatever we asked. The hotel was well appointed, clean and very comfortable-it felt "homey"! We also stayed in another hotel chain that did something similar to the Kimpton hotels, but they... what people say » 're not even close. (Mcmenamin's Kennedy School, Portland, or). Glad our stay was only 2nights. Earlier in the trip we stayed at a Hyatt Regency in Va - Location was good for us. Came in by train and spent a night before an Alaskan cruise and returned for 3 more nights. In same block was a ywca with inexpensive breakfast/lunch and a deli/store across the street for snacks. Quiet and clean. Very helpful staff. Stored luggage because we arrived early in the day and our train out wasn't until late on the day we checked out. Could easily walk to Pike St. For market and shopping.
