the owners went out of their way to be helpful. They helped us with unpacking the car and moved us to a lovely, big first floor room as my hubby has difficulty with stairs. I felt welcome and comfy!. the inn was very clean and they were very helpful in chossing local places to visit. We enjoyed our stay there very much and are looking forward to a reuturn visit. The motel was spotless and the room enormous! It was very convenient to have a fridge and microwave. This is not a glamour hotel, but very clean and great value.

Proximity to a wedding we were in Lancaster for. Parking is a bit tight for our full size truck. I found the bed to be much too firm, and springs poked me. I did not sleep well. My room was at the front, so road noise was pretty loud... a back room would be better if you like firm beds and want to give it a try. Cleanliness could be better - some stray cereal on the floor from a previous guest Parking lot is a bit cramped A/C seemed to work inconsistenly. would have preferred A few more items for breakfast. Did not have any issues. The bath tub was a little too high to get into. The refrigerator was full of frost and the food that I placed in it was ruined and had to be thrown out. It may only be in need of defrosting. The only things lacking were a coffee maker--major for me--and a hair dryer. I know I was able to "ask" for a dryer but it's rare not to have one already in the room. it is in need of new beds and frames. the breakfeast could have had a little more variety like box cerial and more choice of pasties. Room had old, musty smell. Refrigerator needs defrosting. No iron/ironing board. Hair blower has to be checked out from office. There were hairs on the pillows. Tight driveway turns, exterior door lock difficult to release, shower faucet that emitted high pitch whine at low volume, toilet paper holder intrudes into parking space(at elbow). All these quirks aside, we'd go back. Nothing stands out. some peeling wallpaper where new (very comfortable!) heater had been installed and drain stop in basin was loose and a little grimy. no sanitary cover, was given two full ISO king, outside disturbance in which a vehicle was hauling a boat maneuvering in parking lot causing everyone to move their vehicles but this event was not cause of hotel and staff member made it as comfortable as possible ... no TV channel guide. entrance and parking. The location makes it difficult to get around. The parking lot is extremely small and narrow so SUVs will have a hard time negotiating the parking lot. The wall paper was falling off the wall, very noisy from highway, terrible parking & hallway was never cleaned in three days that we were there. Virtually no internet reception - spoke to other guests who had same complaint. Also was very noisy from other rooms - the floor above squeaked and noise came through the walls. I booked early and despite that once I got up there other people were getting better rates than me just as walk ins!. I found some dead bugs under the bed... Very difficult to maneuver our vehicle from front to back to front...tight! Continental breakfast was advertised...consisted of coffee, juice, and half a store bought muffin!. Could not get in touch with the front desk when needed. Toilet overfloowed and had to fix it ourselves.
