This is a great resort! The units are spacious and well equipped. They even have electric blenders,beaters and an ice bucket and numerous bbqs. Lots of colourful birds flit around in the trees and there's lots of other cute wildlife. Its only a short drive to the best supermarket we found in Hawaii. The staff are genuinely friendly and very helpful. We loved it!. This is a condo not a hotel although the services match a good hotel. Luxuriously appointed apartment on first floor (not ground). Large sitting room and balcony. Beautiful tropical garden setting. Free garage parking. Immaculate swimming pools nearby and hot tubs. A short drive from restaurants and supermarkets.
all reviews » The entire corner apartment 8-21 layout was very spacious with separate bedroom and well furnished lanai. Having a dryer and washer in the unit made it even more convenient. Beautiful and peaceful setting with lush gardens. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, ever comfort was catered for. These condos are amazing. So peaceful and honestly such excellent value for money. we loved staying in these very clean, very peaceful and restful condos. i would recommend to any traveller and we just wish that we stayed longer!!!!!!!. The suite we had was well furnished and very clean. There was very nice art on the walls. The kitchen facilities were excellent. Overall it was much better value than our hotel room in Honolulu and the condo we rented in Maui. Villas are huge and nicely decorated. The resort is in a really pleasant and quiet area, with lots of Plumeria trees. Loved watching the birds and relaxing on the terrace or walking around. Less expensive than a traditional hotel. Comfortable and large villa very nice restaurants around a good experience we will come back. Beautiful resort, very clean, well kept, and modern. That we didn't stay long enough!. No beach nearby. The surrounding island volcanic activity creates a wasteland appearance. The distance from town. Staying here one has to have a vehicle. Mostly a family / honeymoon place, not many other solo travelers around. Also, not within walking distance from Kailua-Kona (2.5 hour walking, 20 minutes driving) - difficult to party in Kona then walk / drive home. A little far from restaurants. Car is a must. nothing. Housekeeping came twice in four days. First day they made the beds kind of ( there was a pillow still in the center of the bed, neatly tucked in) and the second they left towels in a stack in our room without bothering to put them where they belonged. They did not change a toilet paper roll that was empty. Also they did not restock the coffee condiments. Minor inconveniences but all the same cast the resort in a poor light. No room service. No good access to beach by walking. Need to drive everywhere but thats typical Hawaii anyway. No iPod connector in room. The very limited housekeeping is bad on their very best day. What they did was done very poorly if at all.If you are going to do it, limited housekeeping, at least do it right when you do it. Whst is there not to like. This place is just great. Only one night stand. Rooms are a bit outdated. Time for some new finishes. Tiles were cracked, TV's were old. not really any beach you can walk to, car park far from hotel room, golf carts only hold three people. It would have been nice to have the kitchen area down stairs. a little far from the beach and restaurants. Activitie arrangements doesn't specify very clearly. Nothing. problems with Wi-Fi.
