  Near downtown but not right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Kept us out of the heavy downtown traffic to be able to visit other tourist areas.   This was my second stay at the location. The proprietors are very friendly and provide excellent service. The hotel is in a good location that with quiet, comfortable rooms.   We arrived early and we got check in rather than wait for check in time. Room quiet, comfortable & clean. Fresh linens each day. It was nice to have small coffee pot, fridge & microwave, and tv with cable. We had wonderful Folgers coffee in our room - thank goodness. Plenty of ice. Good complimentary breakfast to start the day. Easy parkin... what people say » g. The room key also gave us a discount to the Nimitz and other museums. - We liked the location. The two people we came into contact at the front desk were very helpful and very friendly. Especially the manager and I wish I had her name. There was a hailstorm while we were staying there (5/8-5/11). Our room was not effected. The staff took care to do what they could until glass could be replaced in the rear of motel where 9 rooms had broken glass.

The room and everything in it was very clean and tidy. The breakfast each morning was just enough to start your day.
