The hotel room was spacious, clean and quiet. Very impressive. Hotel staff were extra friendly, helpful, and attentive. Although we were only there for one night to catch an early flight, I would definitely book here again without question. Well done!. I loved everything about the hotel the room was mavulos, and the staff was very very professional and beyond nice and excellent. Especially a young lady name Marie her guest service was to me speechless she know well how to welcome a guest.
all reviews » Very handy place to stop over before an early flight from Newark. Bus service to the airport made getting to the airport at a very early hour easy and I was glad that I did not stay in Manhattan that night. Room was clean, great bed and quality linen Good facilities (microwave, fridge bath etc) Staff were wonderful Great little restaurant/cafe - lunch menu is especially fantastic Complimentary coffee in lobby. Excellent for the people who want to stay close to the Newark International airport. There are free bus between the hotel and airport. The room is clean. The service is very good. As long as you are in one of the renovated rooms they are lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant which was also very good, large rooms very comfortable . Good service, reasonable price, closeness to airport. Very friendly and efficient staff. It's a good quality airport hotel. Amazing hotel, super good service, got the shuffle bus, straight to the airport. I am defenetly going to stay there again. We came in on a 2 AM flight so we had to take a taxi from the airport, and even though it was only a 5 minute drive we paid $22 for the taxi because that was the minimum fare. I am not sure if this hotel offers an airport transfer service, if they do offer one, you are not informed about how you can get it. We had never stayed at a Hilton before . The free airport shuttle and clean rooms were probably the best aspects of this hotel. Reception services were very fast, you didn't have to que up to get what you needed from there. Close to airport with good shuttle service. Situated near the airport. Location. Close to airportl, nice staff, 24 hour shuttle to the airport. Isolated. Once you get there you are basically confined to the hotel. Definately a place to stop over and not much more. Nothing (food, shopping, entertainment) nearby at all. (It's an airport hotel, not a theme park resort). Our room was very near ice machine which was very noisy. The doorman was very rude however desk staff were very apologetic and made our stay worthwhile. Pool needs a clean (scum around the edge) and hot tub way too hot (103F). To get to know NYC, I think it isn't a good place (it doesn't seem so far but it is a great trip by train to be did everyday). It's better to pay more to stay in Mannhatan island. On the expensive side. Too many hidden charges. Im paying about $90 a night.then u tag on an extra $15 to park outside or $20 to parking the garage. Now thats just being greedy.im already staying. Let me park for free. $13 for a tiny bowl of macroni cheese. Outrageous. And no-one in the restaurant seemed to care. Bar closes at midnight... then no drinks or light food. Restaurant closes even earlier. No free wi fi in room. It is very convenient for a one-night stay close to the airport but it isn't easy to get to other places. Not enough shuttle space for the amount of travelers who were waiting. Not fairly organized. Hotel needs to work on it's shuttle service. ridiculous system with wifi - free to some, not to others, free in the lobby - and the joke was that the lobby wifi worked even on the 8th floor. Get into the 21st century and include wifi in the room rate. Far from NYC . It takes about an hour to get from the hotel to the city and cost 25 usd for round trip. location was difficult to get to. The bookings.com rate was very different to our final bill. Taxes plus taxes plus taxes not mentioned in the booking. We were staying on this hotel only for one night, the next day we asked the staff in the hotel for a taxi to go to Manhattan and they got us a taxi that charged us $90+$13 (toll) to go to Manhattan when other taxis charge around $75. What bothered me the most is that they did not tell me the price of the taxi until we were inside the taxi. I would only recommend this hotel if you need to be close to Newark Airport. There is nothing else near the hotel, not even taxis. our room had an expensive mini bar but no fridge and no free internet. We have stayed at much cheaper hotels and they always have free internet. Only some floors have been refurbished latelly. Depending on which floor you are there are different services as well. For instance complimentary water. On the nineth floor you received it but not on the sixth floor. In either of them there was no any body wash. You had to ask it from reception. Aircond stopped working if you programm it for any teperature below 25 Celsius. The Receptionist did not know my name and took some time to sort out our reservation. She finally found it. She should have had a list in front of her with the names of all guests expected that evening. The food at the small restaurant was mediorcre. There was no free internet in the room. Over price. I do not like that guest have to pay for self car parking. You have to pay extra for the internet and you can only use internet in one device. Hallways smell like there is humidity/ old building. Value wise I think there are other hotels for less price same quality. I was hoping being a hilton chain hotel quality was better. Parking was very expensive!. Blood stained comforter brought to our room,when a new one was brought he didn't want to take the dirty one back and didn't seem to understand English,but was wearing a rubber glove......
