The location is very central and everything is within a short walking distance. We had a great room on the 29th floor with panoramic view of the city and lake. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Exceptional staff. Congrats to all of the employees in the behalf of the GM. They have been very helpful and smiling at all times. Greatest location by the way. Staff was excellent. We arrived at 10:30 am and were allowed to check in immediately . Our room was as requested; room service was great.

This was a step a above what is the usual downtown hotel. Quiet, stunning views and comfortable beds. The hotel lived up to Ritz-Carlton standards, excellence in pampering the guests and service. Very high valet parking costs No complimentary or easily accessibe coffee Concierge referral to a new and very expensive Japanese restaurant nearby (Masaki). Definitely not worth it.... expensive. This time our bed was a bit soft but we could have gotten that adjusted. Service generally was so-so; the pool was out of order for half my trip; it was not particularly child-friendly. Television lost signal and staff didn't fix it. Was not expected for a Ritz. Bathrooms need updating... A little dated. They had a problem of not leaving glasses or wine glasses when cleaning the room. Not the maid's fault there seems to be a glitch in their procedure. This was a minor issue. bed was less comfortable than i expected, not that it was bad. Very poor wifi No coffee in the room a very bad minus. Room service takes too long. 1-charging for the Internet. 2- very slow internet. 3- having the hotel lobby on the 12th floor. 4- no coffee machine in the room. Coffee only served to 8 am in the lobby. Room does not meet Ritz Carlton Luxury Standards. old, needs a refurb. See above.
