Since my husband had an appointment at Dana Farber hospital, the front desk did everything possible to make our stay comfortable,early check in, super quiet room(308) we did not hear one noise during our stay. Room was very clean and roomy. Front desk friendly and helpful and answered any emails with thoughtful and kind words. In short, our stay could not have been any better. Not one complaint. Although we did not use the kitchen other than for tea, it could handle a full meal, with a full siz.
all reviews » I was not expecting anything much due to the fantastic rate I got. Well, I was more than pleasantly surprised! The rooms and the staff and amenities were fantastic!!!! Would absolutely recommend to a friend and book here again! Thank you. David at the front desk went above and beyond, from helping us with our travel plans into the city, to helping me organize my Priority Club card. The "Suite" was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were extremely please. We traveled by car from Florida to N.Y, and then to the Boston area, stopping at many hotels/motels along the way. Candlewood Suites was the best of all the places we stopped at. staff was friendly & accommodating; great customer service (my field, so I notice). Laundry & easy-to-use snack service was very helpful. I really liked the warmt and friendly disposition of the staff towards the guests. I would visit again and again if I have the opportunity. The staff! They make cookies and they were very helpful. I like the laundry. The convienence of the suite style and very friendly staff. The location to the mall, movies, and grocery stores. Suites professionals are kind and nice. Easy access to downtown Boston area. I love everything about the hotel. Very clean Nd excellent amenities. Staff and location. everything. Nice room and kitchenette. large bars of soap and containers of shampoo and lotion. had a large refrigerator and a good assortment of dishware. The only nice thing about this place was the bathroom. No complaints. We liked everything!!!!. Staying across the hall from laundry / snack area. People were loud in the hall @ 2 am, 4 am... We made reservations 2 months in advance & were unhappy that we didn't have a better location. Nothing I can remember that I did't like in Candlewood. Their sign out by the road blocks the view of oncoming traffic. Cars come flying up the hill and it is dangerous. They could have some free weights in the workout room. I did not get the room I was supposed to. There was no sitting area like i was supposed to have. the pictures shown when booking a room did not match what I had. The room was not what i wanted for myself and my 8 year old son. (1) Suites is not close to the T. (2) Pets are allowed in the room (we were unable to sleep becuase of a barking dog in the next room!!). Availability of food/snack in hotel store. I did not like the fact that they didn't have plastic cups. Although the room came fully equipped with dishes and eating utensil my other half and I thought it was odd to us to drink out of those cups. Just seems unsanitary. Nothing I didn't like. Nothing. Noisy room--a/c and refrigerator Fitness room too hot from bad design of having laundry room connected Inability to have room refreshed- one clean per stay. I had to leave for a medical emergency which involved an ambulance - obviously when ambulances arrive the police must be there with first response. Because of this the next day when I returned from the hospital the manager "said I created an incident" - is a medical emergency an "incident. He told me I was no longer welcome at the hotel. People do and will have medical emergencies - does that mean that they get asked to leave the hotel?. The fact that they allow dogs and we heard barking in the wee hours. A hotel this nice should not allow dogs. The hotel is showing it's age. bathroom floor was not clean. Bath towels were thin and worn. small area for bed. Bed was pushed up close to window, very little space to move around on that side of the bed. heater was right next to the bed. room was not setup well.. Everything. The room was not even close to what was advertised. The rooms had 2 towels in it. The bed had 2 pillows. When I asked for more they said they didn't have any. Would never in my life stay here again even if it was $50 a night. remodeling Paint smell carpet tripping hazards. I was sent to the wrong room and was embrassed that someone was in there. I had someone call for me and again given the wrong room. Then the staff came knocking since they didn't know here I was. I checked out early. Would not recommend to family or any clients to stay there. I would not recommend any other business associates choose this motel.
