  The easy access to numerous trails and scenic adventures. It was a great experience with the kids. Liked the ranger talks and museum detailing the history of the park. Nightly entertainment was family friendly, sing alongs were a blast. The main lodge was a great spot to relax and let the kids play a game or enjoy the view. Big Meadows Lodge is a historic landmark located off Skyline Drive (Mile post 51) in the center of the Shenandoah National Park. The breath taking views will remind you your not in the city!
