The villa was extensively huge for just 4 families, the location was good and easy to find and teh swimming pool which was opposite teh villa was a plus point...good to organize a massive party. They also gave us extra time untill 5pm to check out since the villa was handed over late to us. Amazing place for party at home, you can do what ever you want there no one will complain, the staff waas so friendly, and the place so big - bedrooms, and saloon- Recommend any group for it.
all reviews » This hotel will be my first choice next visit to Umm Al Quwain, Very quiet and peaceful hotel, food and beverages prices were reasonable.we liked the tennis court and the pool bar. 1) The procedure of the hotel is good, comparing to others where there is so much restriction. 2) Very nice place to chill out had have fun both weekdays and weekends. the pleasant and the calm atmosphere , really an escape from the fast city life.a good place to chill down from your stress of daily life. Value for money, spacious and clean 2 b/r villas, parking space for 2-3 cars right beside the villa, friendly staff, peaceful and calm. Value for money. Feels like home. You can do things you normally do at home. Quite good for big party with family and close friends. I liked the comfort and utilities provided aswell the location.. peaceful and relaxing..Perfect for a break from daily hectic lives!. We always stay here on weekends as it is simple good fun. It would be good to have a cooking range since they provide microwave and the fridge needs to be changed / repaired to provide better cooling. Only the bathrooms without bathtub. N/A. crowded pool in the weekends. Ancient television set and music system, no mini-bar. Bring your own hot plate and microwave oven. Bring extra towels. The only thing i did not like was that the washrooms had a bad smell though it was clean we could not stand the smell.. it would be better to provide a room freshener or toilet freshener to make the stay more pleasant!!. The location of this hotel is very poor, its far away from everything and you can't survive without a car. no access to the beach. one room was without the ac regulator.... just maybe some slight maintenance will be good.... no wifi inside the villa pool too small no cooker. The swimming pool is not temperature controlled. Not possible to use at anytime other than when the sun is shining overhead. Not English speaking staff of villas. Old furniture and tv. Food, Restaurant facilities were pathetic. small pool. Crampy villa. the villa not ready when we retch to it ( not open the AC , there NO HIFI SYS). During check in time, the room is still not cleaned, need to wait 1 hour. The pool and amenities (restaurant + basketball court + tennis court + gym) are located at one end of the property. This means that while the amenities are close to a few villas, it can be a good long walk for the others. So if you are unlucky to get a villa close to the pool, prepare to walk about 100 mtrs. The staff friendliness needs a review. Office demands to hold your passport or Emirates Identification in the office, despite government regulation stipulating that it is not lawful to do so. When I refused, they banged on my door and tried to get in the next day, to guarantee that I hadn't left without paying for the second day. Smell in the villa, specially the bathroom and also the tap water was tasting horrible. - Ac in the driver's room (the room outside the main villa) has an auto sleep set-up. It keeps on switching on and off and sometimes it becomes too hot even if the temp is set on the lowest possible at 19 degrees C. We did not bother to call engineering as we were too tired from crab hunting. - Housekeeping is not so great. The towels are yellowish (a bit stained). Good we carried our own towels. And the bed is itchy!. Many things which has been already mentioned by other leisure travellers. swimming pool always full of guests, no swim attendance, even no security at the main gate of the hotel. Below par dining options , relative lack of privacy. The bed was not comfortable , toilet needs to be renovated. Be sure from whom will join you, don't take old people there they will sleep so early :d. it was a bit untidy. Very bad odour and lots of insects. There was huge noice early in the morning from the other villa, was loud music from theother villa and also a fight from the other. Not clean, A/c was hot, most of the furniture is broken, even door frames, the tv was too small like 17" aprox. a lot of staff noise around the villas. Loud music in the night. A very old hotel. only one small pool and not maintained properly my friend got hurt. Available only in reception area not in rooms. Location, services I didn't believe these previous comments. Stupid of me. They are all true, even those too short shower curtains exist. I informed the reception about not working fridge, which is essential to keep your drinks cool in a "dry" emirate. Nothing happened. The Cleanliness. everything starting from entrance. bad smell in the toilets no parkings no room service no laundry service and whenever i call the recp always they say NO which is really funny. Ac does not work, service comes very late, has bed bugs. Facilities are very poor and there were no equipments in the villa. Staff atenntion was not much good had to wait for them more than 3hrs. Villa wasnt very clean and we had to clean the toilets by ourselves. It was better to stay in our own house rather coming here, no response from the room service, no food after 11.00PM because the restaurant was closed, no current for 8 hours in the room, it was a very bad experience and would like to suggest our friends not to visit this place.
