Friendly staff specially the reception team, the assistant manager (Nader) was responding personally to all guests requests. Also all observations were addressed in exceptionally quick way compared to other even 5 stars hotels. I also liked the access granted to the Beach resort. Overall I am quite satisfied for getting value for my money. Thae hotel is very well managed with polite and attentive staff. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Facilities are good , food is good but not high quality. Room rates are very good . Overall a very nice hotel to stay in. Top marks go to the reception staff, who always make an effort to offer a warn welcome , :).
all reviews » The staff were really friendly and welcoming. They upgraded my room and gave me free internet access. The hotel was very clean and great value for money. Breakfast was included which added to the value for money. Pool and spa facilities were excellent too. Was the worse place I have ever stay for last 30 years in 4 Star. Staff are not friendly, inexperienced. Rooms very basic & some items not even working. letsbookhotel.com should do there marketing resurch. I feel I was cheated. We had 4 rooms. I liked everything about the hotel. Easy to access, huge parking, nice and confy room... I think it's a great hotel for a quick scape to Ras Al Khaimah as it is very close to the Iceland Aquapark and it has a shuttle bus service to the beach. Acacia is well maintained property, clean and tourists friendly. All the amenities are provided by the hotel. Staff quite helpful. Access to the Beach of Bin Majid Resort is highly appreciated!. Value For Money The facilities for Guests staying in Acacia to use the Bin Majid Beach Resort at no extra cost. Excellent House Keeping with tea and water replenishment every day. A liitle bit disappointed hotel location. However, Acacia hotel's policy to use another hotel's pool and facilities was really satisfied for my family, especially for kids. Love the location, and spinney's just around couple of meters away.. the receptionist Kate is very helpful as well... was a beautiful stay for just a quick getaway :))). We got all the things we needed for the room. The swimming pool is very nice and we enjoyed it a lot. Fist time in Rak Al Khaimah with a 4 star hotel was really a good choice to move away from the crowded placed i used to be . Its a great experience. Acacia Hotel is fairly good, I can say I had a comfortable stay even though it was only a night stay. Staff were great, Food was very good. Rooms were clean and had everything we wanted. The location is a little strange but they provide a fast shuttle to the beach and their are loads of taxis. The hotels on the beach are 1500 dirhams instead of 250 so this is a great option. But free access to bin majid beach can partially compensate such weakness . They increase the prices of open buffet in the second day of my stay . minor things which can be improved. pillows had a certain smell. limitedenu selection for breakfast. no kiddie pool or properly equipped play area. The card system to open the open the door didn't work and we were forced to call the reception to help us all the time. we have requested 2 baby cot as we were family with kids, and we have confirmed that when booking, but when arrived there was no baby cot and no extra mattress, but maybe becuase we arrived late at the hotel. make sure you arrive early to get your request. :). The front desk staff can improve with some training in customer service.They are not that bad but can be better. ...need more lifts waiting for lifts was a pain. And a bit disappointed with the service, like we were just handed with the room keys to find our own way to the room...not something you would expect from a 4star hotel and there was no one to greet the guests at the entrance either. 1) Rooms too small to accommodate a 8 year old child. 2) No kids pool area, small children cant play on their own. 3) No other activities were available except swimming pool whereas many free kids activities are mentioned as available before booking. Road direction to the Hotel is not Cleared and difficult to locate the hotel. the breakfast need more improvment and the tables need to be. Swimming pool was under maintenance. But this can happen of course. Limited availability of vegetarian food. located in the industrial area and far from city center. Spa can be rated as 3 stars hotel. internet is chargable as all UAE hotels and a the bf was horrible compairing with other 4 star hotels in UAE or Rak . Far from the city. No internet wireless in the rooms. On arrival when I checked in, they charged my Visa Card 35% more than the room rate in case I use the mini bar, but when I checked out they returned the money back. In the breakfast buffet the name of the dish was not mentioned and couple of staff in the restaurant was not able to converse in proper English. This is a problem for a person like me who don't eat beef, please look into this. Parking with no shade, no swimming pool for kids ,, location very far from RAK. Location is far in business & industrial area. No free Wi-Fi. Very Expensive. Bath water is little salty No none-smoking side in the nightclub.
