Landmark Plaza Hotel was a great hotel to stay in. Located in Old Dubaiit is in a great position to shops and the souks. Staff were veryhelpful and hotel was very clean and great value for money. Service was excellent with clean rooms and helpfull staff.The restaurant had excellent meals with very attentive staff.Location and quietness of our room provided a nice relaxing getaway from the hustle of the daily life that is so fast paced in Dubai. The hotel certainly met our expectations in all aspects. We arrived several hours before check in and we were very pleased the staff showed us to a room within minutes to rest and refresh even though they were not obliged to do so. This considereation was truly appreciated. Our experience was very good.

We where able to see the culture and people. the quite ambience in the middle of a very noisy neighborhood. The staff are polite, Friendly and warm. The rooms were clean. The fact that there is enough space to move around. Close to shops + available restaurant. The bathroom needs better finishing to stop the shower from flooding the bathroom floor, houever a towel soon did the trick. We did find the girl at the tour desk quite distant and preoccupied with her friends and not really approachable in providing useful information on what to do in Dubai. We managed quite well without her assistance regardless. When I contacted the hotel 3 days before of my check-in date, the hotel did not know my booking. I was afraid whether my booking worked or not.Electrical fittings (plugs) were very dubious. One hotel member discouraged us from going to the restauraunt for a cup of coffee, offering to make us one in th guest coffee room. This he did, then charged us a higher price than he should have. Breakfast available was ordinary. Taxi drivers didn't know where it was.the toiletries need to be improved. I do not like the fact that you have to pay for using the internet service ( computer ) in the lobby. This is my first time of experiencing that. I know you pay for room connection and not Lobby.( Observation ) Thanks. The reception has retained my passport until check out. I do not think that this policy applies in many other hotels. Staff attitude very unfriendly, breakfasts - very dismal, no hot water. The reception staff were not very helpful. Room service took ages. They need to smile more, they all look like they at a funeral. The transport is a major problem there. We waited over two hours for a taxi.
