The Jumeirah always does it right, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, you feel very well taken care of. The hotel was beautiful, the beds fantastic, the access to their other hotel beaches and Wild Wadi is an added bonus. The curtains opened from the phone which provided endless entertainment, there was a DVD player, the mini bar (sans alcohol) was free. Breakfast was great and the hospitality is always wonderful at Jumeirah hotels. I wish they could all be like this.
all reviews » The staff were amazing. The hotel is less then one year old and is spotless, although you get the impression that it will stay that way forever as the staff are constantly cleaning. The location is nearer Dubai old town with the many souks etc. It is part of the Jumeirah chain so you can use Jumeirah beach hotel, madinat, WIld Wadi etc for free. Check in was done efficiently and in under 10 min we were in our room. The room was spacious, facilities were very good and the fact that they did not charge you for mini bar was a plus. The bathroom was spotless and the bed was very very comfortable. I loved the hotel and would stay there again. The staff were extra nice!. It is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a luxurious hotel at a bargain price. Highly recommended. Will surely stay again during my next visit. Excellent gym - fully equipped, with two squash fields, trainers and latest fitness equipment- at your disposal. very good hotel with excellent customer service. Close proximity to the airport. Plenty of taxis available to get to anywhere you want and Just next door to the Irish Village. I loved the Friday brunch. The open design of the lobby, and the rooms were very big and well stocked. all soft drinks in the minibar were free as was the wireless. The roof top pool was easy to get to, limited exposure to children because of its depth. One of the ladies at reception desk did not know times of shuttle bus. Phoned & asked info from concierge desk. Staff there promised to get back to me but failed to do so. The shower took about 10 minutes to attract any heat. I ended up having a cold shower. lack of signage to pools, lack of information on facilities within the hotel and surroundings. Room menu was not that good and with little variety A bit expensive. The aircon was very intense even on the lower setting. Main pool closed for a private function on one of the two days I was there - however, hotel did notify this the day before and extend hours of the smaller pool. Some odd artwork on the walls. You can hear planes flying in and out of the nearby airport. I only wish I was able to stay longer and extend my vacation. I will return!. Not very enjoyable choice of dinner venue. there was a marching noise in the floor above our room. The guy who checked me in was very unfriendly. Breakfast food choice is not that inspired and I-pod docking station wasn't working properly. The staff was extremely busy Spa was overbooked Nobody came with snacks in the evening as they were supposed to Serving of pork in breakfast. Nothing. Nothing really. room service is somehow slow, but they are friendly. Service in nomads awful for dinner. Food not that great for the money spent. I liked everything. Nothing. The staff at the front desk had a hard time dealing with the booking i made with letsbookhotel.com and they were very confused. we asked for smoking rooms, and they denied us that. Yet the staff is very friendly and professional in other matters.
