The staff were very attentive and supportive. They will go out of their way to make sure the guests feel comfortable and satisfied. We had the privilege of being attended to by Mr. Ansar, Asish and the nice ladies from the front desk. We were offered free breakfast (which was not included in our booking and regretted that we didn't because the foods were superb). We had been to a lot of other luxury hotels in Dubai but we never felt so pampered. We will definitely stay in this hotel again and i.
all reviews » First time in Dubai so we wanted to stay in the old town. Room was spacious and bed very comfortabe, with AC. The location was great, 3min walk to the Deira Palm Metro (Very easy to figure out). 10-15min walk to the gold souks. The Double Decker tour bus collected us at 9:30am from the hotel. We booked a desert Safari also collected us form the hotel. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Taxis always available outside. Pool area was great, revolving restaurant with buffet was great except s. Wonderful hotel. Nice restaurants. The health club is too good. Had a good time in the SPA on the pool. The staff are friendly and all out to help you. Give a professional treatment expected of a Five Star Hotel. Well connected and near to the creek. The view on the creek side is fabulous. Its not far from the metro. The best thing is a wonderful Super market in the shopping area. We even got some good parathas and samosas. The Ice Skating Rink is good for the kids. Staff could not have been more polite - nothing was too much trouble for them. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was amazingly clean. All food sampled was of the highest quality. We recommend the revolving restaurant - excellent! Try and get the deal which gives access to the Club Lounge on the 18th floor as then breakfast is included as well and tea and coffee all day and happy hour with supper and free drinks from 6 til 8pm. I liked everything, from the time I arrived until I left, great staff in the hotel,the restaurants and the retail duty free shops in the hotel complex. Unfortunately I did not stay long enough to try all the restaurants but I will be back! hopefully with a few friends. The location is excellent - only a few steps to the Metro station. The staff are amazing - they couldn't do enough for us - every single one of them made us feel so welcome. The views from the rooms are completely awe inspiring ... the windows are low enough so that when you wake, you have the most awesome view of the Dubai skyline. Internet not free, Breakfast not included in rate, no I-Pod charger or dock. In general you can find better in a city like Dubai. Nothing!. The breakfast on the 18th floor has a really small variaty of food. The crowded roads to reach the hotel during rush hours. The high cost of certain extras. they have some strict rules regarding visitors. Not the best location if you want to feel like you are in the centre of a city. However, taxi are easy got at the entrance. Breakfast is the same and portions are small. I was using the Club Lounge facilities. Internet, which you have to pay for, can be patchy at times. . plastic water bottles which were too thin for the pressure needed to open them- always spillage of water on opening. The rates are rather too high. The fact that I couldnt get a late checkout till 1am to catch a 3am flight was must frustrating and annoying. little shower cabin. No free Wi-Fi in the standard rooms. I didn't like the guest policy that they have and the location is considerably far from the attractions in the city. It takes you time to get to them in weekends. No free wifi in the rooms. Only available in the lobby. The pool was out of commission for cleaning. When you check out for 12 you cannot get on to the internet as they log you off, this is not good when your flight is in the evening and you need to send messages or check your mail. Sun loungers all taken by 11am on the day that we were there. Pool is located in second floor which you can not enjoy the sun after noon due to the shade of the building, pool is very small, poor breakfast variety. Slow response. value of money, privacy, internet is not free in the rooms. Chek out service it was very bad and 3 time I called to reseption for Chek out no respond and no any oplogize for that. Pretty small pool. It take a long time until you get a taxi, the private car from the hotel charge 3 times higher than the city taxi.
