The hotel is next to Intercontinental and also to a Mall. Walking from Crowne Plaza to the Fetical City shopping mall is through Intercon and the walkway is all airconditioned, and both hotels being new the environment is just perfect for a relaxed weekend. The rooms are of modern standards and perfectly designed, we enjoyed our stay so much, in fact we spent more time in the hotel than outside.
all reviews » the hotel is very clean, rooms are very cozy , wide , and modern, the view is good on either sides of the hotel, it is close to the shopping centers and downtown .the staff are very nice and cooperative. The pool area is very for an urban location. Shopping center is attached with cinema and many restaurants. Hotel next door also has upscale restaurants. Big Bus tour leaves from shopping center. The staff were sensational - friendly and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and the hotel had easy access to shops. Pool was great.The location was very good near a shopping mall and the people were very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. the gym was very good because it was open 24 hours ... the pool ....also rooms decoration was good. The fact that the entire hotel is non-smoking and the rooms are great and very comfortable. Accessability to other tourist venues in Dubai and to Festival City Shopping Mall.Great location - right next door to a shopping centre and close tothe airport. they upgrade us to a bigger room, the view and every thing close to you. He has an excellent attitude that looksnatural and not made up. Such staff should be appreciated andrecognized. The greek view. location near to festival city. Courteous staff.. Nothing. I regret staying there.The hotel has a no smoking policy, as a none smoker I find this to be excellent. The bad side about this is that, smokers end up smoking in the room (they did in the room I stayed)and destroys the whole environment. The hotel should re-consider the policy so that smokers can be accommodated in appropriate rooms. their tv channels ...there was not enought arabic channels ....and the remote controle kind of slow. when we use the shower, the water flooded on the bathroom floor. the corridor was a little bit smelly. alot of people was there. we asked for 2 glass of milk and they charged us 40 Dhs!!!!! wow....better to buy a cow;). The windows were not very clean - a shame with a harbour view. Gym is not open 24 hours. Sliding door on the bathroom, was very heavy and not noise-proof. the breakfast choises and crowdness in the restaurant.No enough places in Resturant during breakfast. room servise is not faster i order breakfast and its take long time. Quality of food in the "Zaytoun" restaurant (located on 5th floor). the bathroom door was sliding door and easy to open by my childern ..........Loppy so small. No wireless internet. We tried to make a late check out just to delay it for three hours andthe front desk staff were not helpful and it made me a bit pissed.. Butwhen I called the manager he was professional and well behaved whichhelped a lot... good be more sunbeds at the pool. unhelfull dtaff i came at 14:00 to check in, i didnt get the room until 16:00. concierge was slow, price was higher than intercontinental. wish they could have thrown in breakfast as well... or at least reduced the charge per person. WC, no lock. We book a room in the hotel by 1550 per night , but they give us a suiteand told us free of charge but the price become 1780? how could?. staff behavior, unprofessional.Woken up every morning by maintainence work on the lifts !!. Their refusal to give me a room when I arrived at 8am. The stepford wifereceptionist who spoke and acted like a robot. The noisy rooms, flushingtoilets, crying babies and the airconditioner. The exorbitant roomservice price. The cheating hotel lexus cars.
