We went both for business and medical reasons so we located ourselves to the nearest hotel to the Saudi German hospital. The staff were as caring as nursing staff. I came back from hospital not being able to walk and they rushed and got me a wheelchair and for the next two days jumped to every time they saw me to provide the wheel chair and push me around and helped me onto the bed and lounge whatever I needed. all reviews » I lived in Dubai before, so I know city more or less. This hotel is comfy if you have a car or plan to use taxi. What I liked about the place was a lot of space in the rooms. There was living room and kitchen and bedroom. I could cook if I wanted, very convenient. Sheets were changed every day and bed was very big, very good night sleep every night. Internet excess and business center to fax, print or scan papers if you are on the business trip is available. 1) The hotel was near to metro Station 2) There is 24x7 supermarket in the same hotel which is really a plus. 3) Most of the malls are near to hotel 4) The price of the hotel is quite reasonable in compare to others 5) The rooms were neat & clean 6) Airport is about 20-25 Min drive 7) Breakfast was good too 8) The restaurant inside the hotel has good Indian food, Italian Pizza's etc 9) Overall good place to stay without any doubt. 1- The room was elegant and air conditioned. There is a lot of facilities in the room (Oven, Microwave, Fridge, Washing machine & Ironing). 2- The room is very clean and tidy and has a different lighting source. 3-There is a near by supermarket were you can buy all the grocery that you need 4- I would recommend this room for any one who wants to stay in Dubai. The size of the room was great! We had a full size kitchen aswell which came in very handy for making breakfast in the mornings. The location couldnt get much better with a view of the burj and right next to the mall of emerates and with the sheik zyad road right next to the hotel too! The food in the small restaurant was amazing and great value!. the fact that without asking we were upgraded this was our fourth or fifth stay this year in the last three months we booked a studio and were given a one bedroom which has one and a half bathrooms( two toilets) and a big eat in kitchen. Room service dinner very good and good value. We had a lovely 1 bedroom executive apartment with free wifi. I had been told the Comfort Inn was basic although spotlessly clean but found it to anything but basic. It was clean, comfortable with all mod cons. Excellent value for money and I would certainly return. The size of the studio apartment was amazing huge kitchen separate dressing area and work station free WI FI and the biggest room service dinner I have ever had and it was delicious. I travel all the time on business and have stayed in dozens of hotels. The hotel is very ideally located in the middle of the city. Very ez to commute to almost all the major land marks of the city. Its located near the main sh. zaid rd. so its very easy to locate as well. The facilities and the staff are also very good. Very friendly staff, my booking was upgraded to a single room apartment which was greater value for money. Food menu and room service very commendable. Proximity to Metro station is also a plus. Overall it was a pleasant stay for me and my husband. The personal (specially Abdul) was very helpfull and the food at the restaurant was very cheap and good. Good value for your money. Bed too small- no Queen size beds in the studio or luxury studio in which we stayed so after my operation had to get a separate bed for my husband. The only thing I did not like was internet excess only to one computer, so if you and partner have to be online at the same time, that was not possible. The kitchen towel ‘s fabric was too artificial to use, cotton would be better. There is a washing machine to do the laundry, but only one string in the bathroom to hang it. If you want to dry your swim suits and do the laundry at the same time, not enough space to hang everything to dry. Kindly add Indian/Paki Tv Channels. 1- There Room Service Management they need to work on like to make sure that the bath tube doesn't leak water on the floor & the hand washer bowel in not blocked and the cooking bowel is not scratched. I didn't want to mention that to the hotel receptionist so as to know how they manage the room service according to quality. 2-The wi-fi signal was very weak. 3- In about 12 hours the price of room increased rapidly from the time I viewed it till the time I've booked the room. We had a huge demolition site right outside out window and we were only on the 3rs floor so the noise was awful, the work men would start drilling and digging at 4.30am. The pools were locely although you were not allowed outside to sit in the evenings as the pool area was closed from 7pm. It would be nice if there was a bar or atleast somewhere to sit outside and relax in the evening. our room was not serviced on two occasions in the four days we stayed. The one bedroom unit has only a small wardrobe whereas the studio has one, the length of the room so for long stay it makes the one bedroom unsuitable for two people. The wifi kept on disconnecting after every few mins and u have to reconnect again and again. It wasn't fun doing it many times literally as long as u r staying in the hotel. Wifi is the worst! The hotell has to do something with it 150 AED for a week.. and its almost not working, i wished i would get my money back because it was terrible. Metro station 10 minutes away. U have to take taxi to everything( but it is cheap). The food they serve for breakfast and room service food are awful by all means. They charged my CC for one night 2 days before I arrived, while it was clearly indicated that no pre charge will be taken! Internet WiFi is bit slow in the room and has weak signal. No dryers for washed clothes. -Floating W-Lan, our TV set in one room was not working properly (but on the other side we don`t Need that device). Outside swimming pool is cold and there's no direct sun due to other buildings. A bit noisy due to construction next to hotel. There's no alcohol served at the hotel restaurant. You do have to pay for the internet but I didn't think it was that expensive. It isnt really close to the centre of downtown but it is really close to the metro stop. 3% additional charge when using a credit card to pay. Location left a bit to be desired, as it was a bit further away from the metro that I imagined. There is also stil a lot of building work going on around, and this did seem to start very early and did wake me a few days. Not too many eating places nearby, and not too many shops etc to visit, unless on the Metro or by Bus Decor was a little dated, and dark in colour. The location means a short walk to the nearest monorail station (approx 20mins) but having said that this then provided a cheap efficient service into the city. There was a slight mistake from reception staff regarding my payment, I had to insist several times that I already paid to another staff member before they checked their records and let me in,.. The staff member did the mistake didn't apologize at all.. Twin bed room was not available and Queen size double bed (150 cm wide) was quite small. I booked a Free cancellation package but hotel charged credit card 7 days in advance. Staff is helpful except one lady at the front office she knows nothing about hospitality or hotels business she was there when we checked in 11 Oct @1 pm, one comment is the bed size should be bigger. Suggestion only: To avoid accident just like what happen to my wife, kindly put label on the two (2) side doors with "PLEASE USE THE OTHER DOOR" since the automated door is the center only. Internet in the room is only for one user even we booked a room for two. Kitchen staff have a very bad attitude. the internet connection was poor bu ti have stayed many times before in this hotel but on hte other side of the building and it was better. There is only a double bed when most hotels now have Queen or King size. Start of the new construction work from the right side of the hotel.(eprox. 5-7m). Operational of the havy mechanism(excavators, piles ...). It is very noisy from 6am to evning. It is very very bad for rest. At most other hotels of this quality they provide daily coffee/tea and bottled water as a free service. A small but important detail. Nothing major at all, but the indoor swimming pool was closed. No water or coffee were in room as welcoming for new guests. I used to find it in all the hotels all over the world (As welcoming custom). - No alcohol in the restaurants. The bathrobes were not fluffy or very large - they could do with being replaced. smell - the hotel was very clean, airfresheners everywhere but the smell was nasty like cheap perfume!. - Wifi was only limited to one device at a time - Closest metro was about 10 mins walk. No tea and coffee in the room Lights switches complicated...too many options and trial and error. size of bed - we are used to Queen size bed but only double bed in both studio and luxury studio yet room can accomadate Queen size. Check-in process took so much time. The was not really a restaurant on site just a coffee shop, but there was an extensive take away menu. Nothing absolutely!. The gym is more basic than it looks in the photo. the internet connection for one device is really very bad idea. we have ipad, laptop and 2 smart phones we can not connect all at same time.
