First of all I would like to thank letsbookhotel.com for the best low prices. It is indeed good to book hotel thru letsbookhotel.com. The location of the hotel is great, it is near Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, with taxi it will take 20Dirham. From airport it took 50 dirham to the hotel. The rooms were clean with the price they offer, rooms were really nice, cozy and relaxing. I read few of the reviews and they talk about noise. I stayed at 7th floor and there was no noise what so ever. The staf.
all reviews » I have stayed at the Chelsea Plaza Hotel in Dubai numerous times and it is my hotel of choice in Dubai. The value for money is terrific and the staff reflect great credit on the Dubai hotel industry. The rooms are clean, respectable, and have good WiFi connects. Staff are very quick to correct any little problems that (rarely) arise. In particular, I love The Champs Bar in the hotel. The bar staff comprise three of the best and most committed bartenders I have ever encountered anywhere in . The location which is around the Satwa area gives a flavour of the old and new Dubai. Plenty of local shops,restaurants and places of interest etc and would recommend Il Rustico Italian Restaurant in the hotel.The hotel is well located to visit the Jumeira Beach area or alternatively there is a lovely clean outdoor pool/jacuzzi available with towels supplied. WiFi is available in the rooms(chargeable) and access to the Internet is available free in the business centre. Plenty of taxis available. Excellent business hotel. My first visit was a pleasant surprise. Reception staff are good, they pride in what they do. Breakfast is very reasonable at good price with fresh fried eggs/omelette. Room was comfortable, spacious and nicely designed. Good bars to have quick meals and drinks. It also has a good swimming pool which i didn't try. We like the location, not too far from the tourist attractions in Dubai like Burj Khalifa and the major malls, but set in a location with a much more local feel to it at Satwa roundabout. There is an excellent Italian resaurant on the premises and a small courtyard with a pool where it is nice to sit out a night for a drink. I am a little confused? The hotel is now called Chelsea Plza Not Eden? I have been staying at this hotel for many years, the changes made by the new owners are very positive. The staff that have been retained are very good. The room rates are very attractive, I would recommend anyone who comes to Dubai to stay there. Location-wise was great and not hard to find. Lots of restaurants around and some of them opens after 12am. Free valet parking. Rooms are big enough and well furnished. Love the theme chosen in our room. Overall, enjoyed our stay with Chelsea. Location ,location,location was perfect,right off the highway since we were in dubai to watch rugby 7s,plenty of taxis infront of hotel,just hope into one and 70 dirhams u are at the games, staff are great. The rooms were well decorated and bar and pool areas were kept in very good condition. Towels provided at pool was very good detail, drinks and food were good price and food of a high quality. Location i like very much and Valet parking is more attractive for me.I forget my Wallet inside my car. Eventually honest Pakistani driver return me with complete every thing i had in. The air conditioning was not so great but the staff was willing to provide fans since there were no other rooms available at that time. When we didn't get our fan, they sincerely apologized and willing to dine for free in their Italian restaurant. Wifi was not for free inside the room. Ordered pork from room service, was good tasty, but we had tummy complications, but im not blaming hotel,might be from change of diet from kenya food. And we had 3 rooms booked, on arrival, only 2 were available,one had apparently flooded and was out of order.so shared for one night with my parents since they were fully booked. They found me a room next day. Our room was not available till 2 hours after check-in time, although staff allowed late checkout and breakfast as compensation. There was also some old food left in the room fridge, presumably because of hasty preparation for check-in. The hotel clubs were meant to be free for residents and reception staff confired this, but staff on the club doors repeatedly tried to charge 50 Dirhams for entry despite out having id and hotel keys. I reserve hotel for two person.My partner arrive after one hour i reach to hotel,but they charge 100 AED additional. it is unfair and i did not like it. it is simple i would say robbery on pocket. Nothing. The fact that the Gift Shop had no personal items,(i.e,toothpaste,toothbrush,and deodrant,items that a person may forget when packing. Cant think of anything. Price increased dramatically in the recent period Lack of rooms with king size bed (getting twin beds instead) inspite of mentioned preference in the booking. The building is quite old... The lifts and some other facilities could use an upgrade. 1. Toilet had no curtain. 2. Toilet requires renovation. 3. AC was not cold, chiller was down for two nights/days and i was totally unhappy!!. Elevators are a little slow . I have stayed in most of the rooms on the 7th floor and either the toilets don't flush or the tubs do not hold water as the drains do not fit the tub or leak. that is aabout all I have had a problem with. It has great location for me and is a good value. Overlooking some of the negtives, it is fine with me. -Valet parking took forever to bring the car upon checkout. Terrible noise from disco which went on until 3 in the morning. This was located on the 1st floor! Even after being moved I still had to use ear plugs to drown out music! Very expensive coffee!. The Music from the Clubs too loud. 1. Let down by one of the night staff on reception getting gobby and rude. 2. Reception demanding me to tell them what time i wanted to check out, I told them i would check out when I'm ready and before the required time, 30 mins later I then got a letter under my door telling me to tell reception what time i will check out. This is the reason for the poor mark in the staff column. Most staff were actually very good. The noise dham dham continuously coming from the night club,hence i was at 8th floor. internet only free in lobby. internet too expensive for room. noise from bar was heard on 6th floor. internet is paid, dental kit is paid, slow response to requests for rooms. There was a leak in the bathroom and I reported it, No body came. I dont like to go home... It seems I just at my home. The enterance to the hotel is not big enough.they shall repair the big door. Food in buffet station and small area pool. Internet slow and chargeable. N/A. Locked refridgirator. may be furnature needs to be renewal or upgraded, even it is not bad. Nothing was didn't. Bar in the lobby, and at night the music volume is high (get higher floor to avoid disturbance) No free wifi in rooms Water pressure in 7th floor is not good which takes too long to fill up the bath tube. They are not emptying the waste box and change of towels on daily basis Coverage of tv channels are mostly Arabic. When I arrived I did not get the room I booked. I asked for a non smoking double room and got a smoking twin room next to the elevator, very unpleasant.i asked to be moved next day but had to remind them and didn't move until after noon. When I checked out I again complained but the staff just said sorry and that was it. I was only staying for 2 nights and this ruined the stay for me.
