My 20 year old son and I needed an airport hotel for our early morning flight back to San Francisco. We both loved the futuristic architecture. My son enjoyed the rooftop pool and we both got a kick out of the race track below which made for some noise but was great fun to watch. Ate at the hotel's Arabic restaurant and shared a wonderful mezze selection for two for 100 dirhams (about $35) The selclection included 4 hot mezzes of our choice, a basket of delicious Arabic bread, pickles and olive.

Really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the racing cars speeding around the track. The staff are extremely polite and professional, the rooms are big and beautiful and food divine. The facilities are very good and include a partly undercover family pool and a 30 meter adult lap pool. I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel to any Abu Dhabi visitor. I live in Abu Dhabi and the Viceroy H. The hotel is sort of "one of a kind" for its location and rooms have a avantgarde design, are spacious and full of comforts.... I enjoyed having a drink on the balcony with a wonderful view on the marina. Yas Island is getting more and more lively compared to two years ago, with many new attractions and bar/lounges. Being a hotel guest I had access to Yas Beach too... The hotel has an excellent design with very comfortable bed rooms which have a large space and nice balcony view, very attractive lights in the night and the food is perfect. Parking is free with valet service and you can use wireless connection in the bedrooms also the bath room is unique and comfort. I liked every part in the hotel including the gallery room. The design features were fascinating and consistent throughout the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The Japanese restaurant served delicious Sashimi of the highest standard. the view of the Marina was beautiful The lighting in the room and the remote control features for lights and curtains was impressive. The staff is very helpfull, friendly, nice and professionnel! The room was huge, well decorated: perfect! The swimming pool on the roof with a view on the sunset. There is a free shuttel from the hotel to the private beach and the ferrari world and yas waterworld, we really appreciat! This stay was an awsome experience!. Very modern, friendly staff, spacious room (with great facilities but a lot of things that did not work - radio, non-opening window, shower holder broken ..), close to the airport but far from the center at least half an hour by taxi, thai restaurant with beautiful view on the circuit, good food, friendly staff. This hotel is piece of art, from the external design to the internal design, the staff friendly, I recommended to all who love to live within a circt of motorsport and marina lots of activities to the family and their kids, ferrari world just next door, also water park and raha beach is too close. The hotel location is at the nearest tourist area from the Abudhabi airport. The entire Yas island has a shuttle to get you around. The restaurants at the lobby were superb, if you don't mind spending. Great staff, amazing rooms very spacious (50 sq mtr), great modern design of the rooms with views of Marin and the Formula 1 track. it is very close to the Yas Waterworld theme park and the Ferrari world theme park with amazing rides!. Hotel staff are friendly. Room is a haven of comfort. Lots of restaurant to choose from and the foods were great. Overall excellent! I love to comeback in this hotel. Perfectly placed over the F1 track if you are a car fan. Staff friendliness, atmosphere, welcoming, helpful, fun nightlife, variety of atmosphere for evenings (club or quiet dinner). Not a criticism of the hotel but you have to consider that it is essential to move on taxi and while the rates are very affordable the taxi drivers always try to make the streets very much longer than necessary to increase their compensation. Advise you to get an idea of the way to prevent stay on board very much. Another advice, always check the change back!. Far away from the centre of Abudhabi need 20 min. To reach there. Hotel too big? You can get lost easily. Room very nice but maybe not too much ergonomic. I feel the money is abit high,though services are high and excellent though. The location is a double edge sword. Unless you are going to the F1 track you can't walk out the hotel and go shopping, you have to get a taxi or the shuttle bus to the other island locations, but that's kind of the point I guess, It is an island!. Most of the room's floor were left bare-tiles. It does get a little cold on the feet. The hotel is close to the airport. You get air-plane noises every now and then. Bugged a light sleeper like me. Our balcony door did not work well, we needed assistance to close it. the balcony is not accessible as the glass doors do not have handles, but the Hotel staff said they are fixing this and should be done soon!. It did not bother me but there is constant air traffic noise as close to airport plus the noise of cars from the formula one track as hotel is over the top of race track . The lighting control in the room a bit tricky to get used to. Price of drinks on skylight bar high!. Everything fine. The check-in process should be quicker. A bit pricy. The pools could have been bigger. Also, some music wojld have been nice at the adults pool. Ask if there are any races on the track before you book JUST in case you don't love the sound of engines. Marina wing is difficult of access. Bin not postioned by make up mirror, and also has a lid. Curtains did not block morning light. Razor sockets not marked with voltage. Corridors were too dimly lit. Balcony door was broken. Price of breakfast in restaurant was extortionate!!. Nothing. Breakfast was below my expectations. The balcony was surrounded by the panelling of the hotel and so you felt like you were inside rather than out. Expensive breakfast. My room had a huge stain on the wall next to the bed, looks like it was from a water leak. AC controls were abut confusing. Bathroom in the suite room is very big. none. surprisingly some standard items are missing from the house keeping. e.g, No hangers in the bathrooms for towels or clothes. No trash baskets in the bathrooms!!!. No walking area around the hotel and no surrounding facilties such as malls, gas station, and cafes. Swimming pool was a bit small. Bit pricy. Especially if u want to use the facilities like the spa and the restaurants. The room did not come with breakfast and the cost per person was very high. I don't mind paying that money for lunch or dinner. Nothing. Dine in prices. 115 dirhams for two shish tawooq sandwiches is just tooo much!. Noise from the motor racing track - this should come as no surprise - but it did go on for most of the day each day and into the evening one night. If you're busy at the attractions at Yas Island it should not be an issue, but it's not the place for a quiet/secluded retreat. Food is a bit expensive. If you are not a morning person you will not like the early morning practice rounds and the noise it makes.... My trip was too short.
