Friendly receptionist on check in.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had an evening meal in the hotel, which was excellent.
Great hotel, Great Breakfast, Hot Tub rooms in the cottafe out the back were very good.
Excellent facilities-spa bath, hot tub, steam room shower, Bose speaker etc etc.
The hotel itself was very quaint and had a warm feeling about it.
Location near to windermere lake and other attractions. Excellent staff,
breakfast was very good as was the decor of the hotel.
Having to leave!.
Nothing!.
The naked man in the hot tub in the room below!.
Having to go out of where we were staying to go into dine for evening meal and breakfast. The weather was awful, but otherwise no complaints.
didnt like the bad reviews people have put on here prior to my stay......unjustified.
Room was a little smaller than expected but not a problem at all, a great place for a night/ nights away.
View of the kitchen when you enter hotel although sometimes this can be good as you feel the staff are not hiding anything. No phone in room although again this gave you some privacy.
Position of hot tub, under an external staircase and slated overhead
walkway. When it rained as it does a lot, large drops/streams of
water cascaded all around the hot tub and when you were entering your
room. Not comfortable at all. The hot tub is a main attraction (premium
price for this facility too) and I am afraid the issues mentioned above
will not attract us back to this hotel. Which is a shame as the rest of
it is very good.
