The guest house offers free parking for guests, based on a first come first serve basis after check in, and the town centre is 1 mile away. Alternatively, there is a bus service that passes by Hudsons Guest House and can take guests into the town or nearby attractions.
Hudsons Guest House charges all its rooms at room rate only, but breakfast can be added for a surcharge. Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 09:00 every day, and early breakfast is available on request.
All rooms are fully equipped with welcome trays, a fridge, flat-screen TV with built-in Freeview and DVD player, a hairdryer, shaver point and unrestricted access with keys for guests. Standard and en-suite rooms are available, and all are centrally heated.
Hudsons Guest House is situated on the main Dorchester Road and there can be traffic noise at times.

We were made to feel vey welcome by Michael his customer service was excellent and helped us to our rooms ,as we were friends meeting up at the b&b.The room was perfect,my bed was small but I would pay for a double next time as I like plenty of space,my friend had a slightly bigger bed and she thought it was brilliant,at breakfast we were greated by Andrew and again he had excellent customer service,and the breakfast was AAAAA*excellent,and well presented.Nothing was too much trouble for t. all reviews »
Nice bright clean room with a very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast with smoked bacon. A Lidl supermarket is right across the road, great for the morning when you are heading off. Friendly owners. Free onsite car parking.
Very nice guest house. Clean rooms, friendly staff, very helpful, excellent service and a nice breakfast. All in all excellent stay. Would recommend Graingers to anyone without hesitation.

The owner was very welcoming and made me feel very at home-especially after a long day at work. The room was very clean, tidy and had everything i might have needed.
we liked everything about the hotel rooms were clean furnished to high spec owners were friendly and nothing to much trouble would recommend it to anyone.

As far as I am concerned there was not anything that you both could have done better.Your B&B deserves 5 star rating WELL DONE.
A little far from the town and the waterfront – a car is essential. The ‘house rules’ are sent to you and displayed everywhere, makes you feel slightly afraid to use anything.
Not enough tea bags or sugar in the room - in fairness with the number of drinks I have there would never be enough lol - this is not really a criticism.
only one thing - the sound of the water pipes or heating or whatever it was being quite loud in my room and disturbed my sleep which was a shame. but I am a light sleeper!

although the mattress looked deep it was vey soft ... bit like sleeping in a marsh mallow. Sadly not a good night for someone with back problems.
Too small room, too small bed for a couple, too small toilet/bathroom, staff not frendly, number of stars not apropriate to the room and the price.
