The rooms had a warm, homely feel and were very clean and good breakfasts.very good for straight forward overnight business trips. - comfortable though slightly tired decoration. excellent breakfast, quickly served. Made to feel personally welcome.

  As I say, I wanted this hotel for its location; the hotel itself did nothing to detract from its convenient location: quite the opposite, it was admirable in its services. - Quiet place next to a pond,with nice view near the Wrekin hill, 10 miles from Shrewsbury, comfortable free parking. Good value for the price.

  I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The room was modern, quiet and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order, with good quality ingredients. The pub is an amazing 18th century inn, serving at the time I stayed 7 real ales and also some real ciders. The very varied, often local, real ales I sampled were kept immaculately. Parking was easy in an adjacent car park. - despite the owners struggle with refurbishing a listed building which may be off-putting on the outside, it was wonderful inside, in fact quirky and quaint, warm and very welcoming, spottlessly clean with good sized very comfortable bedrooms and all the facilites needed. Great too for real ale fans and the breakfast was first class. Couldn't fault anything and would definately rate it over the traditional national budget types that are all the same and sterile.

The room was delightful with great decor mixing contemporary with classic giving a boutique hotel feel. I suspect there is little else in the area that is providing this kind of hotel experience and it is a shame that there are not more places of this standard for the price in the UK. The food was also excellent.

  We only stayed for one night, but I have to say that this Hotel was superb. In terms of value for money, second to none. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff are very attentive, the rooms are simple, but we don't need anything fancy, they were very clean and again exactly what we needed. The complementry bottle of red wine was a surprise, although reception said they would change it to white for when we returned to the hotel later that evening and this was not done. But this was not a major problem

  We liked all the extra little touches which made our stay more special. We were greeted with a fresh pot of coffee and biscuits on our arrival. The hotel was tastefully and beautifully decorated and spotless and the owner was really friendly and could not do enough for us. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. We were given restaurant options for dinner and we - We had a wonderful reception once the owner, Irene discovered my wife is Brazilian and she was the first ever Brazilian guest nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The room was large, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and really well-equipped , even to ironing board and trouser press, excellent Wi-Fi access , water in the fridge , tea-maker and a large TV. Particularly nice detail, as we checked out we received a small box of chocolates. We used it as a base following our visit to Ironbridge

  Excellent 'vfm', the apartment was very clean & tidy with a much needed washing machine/tumble dryer. Very comfortable bed and great t.v reception too,nice and quietly located with a mini supermarket next door. 100% will stay again without doubt :o) - Liked that we had a lot of facilities such as washing machine/dryer, cooker etc. All cooking... what people say » utensils and equip were provided.There was no freezer though not that we were bothered by that. Bed was comfy. Plenty of bedding :)

I was overwhelmed by the amount of thought that had gone into making my stay both comfortable and enjo - Arriving after a long day, to a cheery welcome from Hazel our host. Who then asked if we would like a pot of tea and toasted tea cakes, served in the lovely garden. The large, very comfortable room, with a comfy kingsize bed, and everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Hazel could not do enough for us. There are some comments on line, about the bathroom in bedroom 3. Yes it is fairly small and no bath but Hazel has made a lovely wet room out of the available space. I am 6ft and did not find

  Really good base to stay, excellent facilities, much better than a hotel room, good value for money, good local shopping, staff at rooms for you were really helpful - Great value for money.good size bedrooms and living room. Great for a couple of night stay near to iron bridge. Bed linen clean and beds comfy.
