The breakfast. Your under manager was very nice but he was working on his own dreadfulfor people like us who came for a nice day out to ullapool. not very much. My bed after a night on the piss. The only criticism I have is that there is a curtain on the window onthe stairs to rooms 31- 60's which is filthy and torn - it needs to bereplaced and the window cleaned but at the very least it should bewashed and repaired. all reviews »
Reduce bad smell in bedrooms.A general air of neglect, epitomised by the dirty torn net curtaincovering one of the windows on the staircase leading up to the room. Breakfast was very poor and the choice was a disgrace tea and toast didnot come together tea got cold. Repairs that should have been done hadnot been carried out. The hotel was very tired and needs a complete refurb. The window frames in the room were rotten and carpets were heavily soiled in the corridors etc. We would have been better off staying in the local youth hostel. Hotel was very poor and needs a refit in the bedrooms, the bathroom had mismatched suite that had seen better days, even the bar wasn't open or staffed. The staff didn't seem to know what was going on and even tried to overcharge us for the stay!. Very dated , almost like there was nobody else in the hotel. Less cleanness; hotel seems very dirty. Breakfast tables remained as used. No service!. where to start... the room was decrepid. the light didnt work, the hair dryer didnt work, the hotel was like the marie celeste. yet there was no spare hair dryers. I dont think so... the bed was rock hard very uncomfortable. i truly have nothing goo to say about the hote. the food was bloody awful too.
