  Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much bother for them,the pub is set in a peaceful location which in the summer would be lovely to be able to sit outside in the gardens.   We were traveling with our father who is in a wheelchair. The girls at the front desk assisted us with getting him situated in #2 with legs for the bed, extra quilts, a modified box for his legs when he could not sleep in the bed and had to sleep in the chair. Suggestion: place a recliner chair into your wheelchair accessible rooms. - The frien... what people say » dliness of the staff. The cleanliness of the room and the fact that one felt that any problem would be dealt with immediately. In fact there were no problems, everything was very satisfactory. It was quiet and peaceful and very welcoming.

  The hotel was good, nice and quiet and the bar next door was nice. The staff were overall nice but the girl in Reception called Alex was an absolute star and could not have been more helpful-she really went above and beyond to look after us and get everything we requested. I by accident left quite a lot of money out whilst I went for breakfast and... what people say » the room was cleaned and the money was not touched, so fair play to the honest staff. - The staff were wonderful - exceptionally helpful and attentive with my post-op mother. Particularly well located room, which was larger than usual, easy for mum to get around. Comfy bed as ever. Freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. Have stayed here a lot and will continue to do so, despite other options being available.
