  James & Nelly the propietors, are the most welcoming and warm people that I have encountered in a long time. Nelly is bubbly and full of energy, James -, a little more laid back but very affable. They compliment each other well. Nelly's chilli con carne is to die for and James's selection of malts exquisite. The Hotel is clean, comfortable, ha... what people say » s a balance of old and modern, the rooms very cosy and value for money package, 200%! - Friendly and welcoming hosts. Very helpful and generous with local advice. Reasonable B&B rates included excellent Scottish breakfast, great value. Evening meals simple, tasty and wholesome taken in the bar lounge with an open fire. Sky Sports channel meant we saw the Masters golf - a bonus! Really enjoyed our stay over two nights. Would definitely come back.
