  My 2 children and I found the cottage very welcoming and comfortable. Miles and Christine are great hosts. We had a private living room with coal fire burning stove next to the bedroom. You felt as if you was at home. - The staff were exceptionally friendly and made it feel very welcoming and the breakfast was outstanding. Whether it was an extra slice of toast, a late night drink or calling us a cab, every request was met with a smile.

Overall it is a a very good hotel to stay in, nice sized room tec. - Easy access, bar/restaurant close by. Close to village centre. Clean, tidy room. Friendly approachable staff.

  The BandB was wonderful. a real charming lodge and area. The hosts were very friendly and could not have done more, would highly recommend a stay here to a charmless hotel - Adequate room, warm, cosy and very clean - plenty of hot water! Breakfast was ample. Location to airport was good. Onsite parking. Airport drop-off/pick-up.

  Kevin and Pauler made us feel very welcome.. We stayed in the house rather than an annexe and this was very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was really good and exceptional value at only £2.50 each. The local pub was very friendly and served good food at a reasonable price. I would recommend this B&B for anyone who needs to stay in this area.... what people say » - Really clean, modern, well appointed and comfortable room. Hosts were friendly and helpful. The £2.50 full english breakfast upgrade has to be the best deal in town and the quality is first class. Even taking the cheap price out of the equation, this is the place to stay in the local area.

  We travelled with our dog and the hotel served for dual purposes. Night 1 overnight stay prior to a business trip flying from Stansted and night 2 an overnight stay en route to Dover. Angela is a great hostess and made us feel so welcome, whilst allowing us our own space. There are walks nearby to exercise your dogs. We also know the Thatchers in Hatfield Heath, - Nothing was too much trouble, very friendly and helpful owners, the bed was very comfortable and our room was lovely and clean. Lovely little village, easy to find. We felt very welcome and now we have found Bonningtons we will definitely be staying again before we fly out of Stansted and the fact that it included parking and transfers to the airport was a bonus for us.
