My room was comfy and clean and the bed was beautiful! The complimentary breakfast in the nearby Abbey Court Hotel was absolutely delicious! The manager was very helpful and Charlie the Boxer dog was an adorable addition to reception. The young woman employed there was delightful.
Small friendly guest house very quiet, bit of a walk to the town. Extremely good value for money. Breakfast was very good and all the staff were helpful and friendly. Clean & comfortable. all reviews »

Single room price of £42, including breakfast, was great value for money.

staff hotel area.
The staff were excellent and really put themselves out to help you. In
short an exemplary attitude. The price was extremely reasonable. The
breakfast room in the hotel was good.
Good breakfast, access to hotel bar, wifi.
Comfortable room, good breakfast.
The omelettes.
Staff very friendly. Breakfast good.
Price was reasonable.
Extremely small rooms although large bed makes up for this. Tired decor, breakfast taken at nearby hotel.
Was not aware that I have to check-in at nearby Abbey Court Hotel and have all meals and drinks there. Noisy neigbours dose not help at grisnoir.
I'd choose to have my own bathroom but realise that a shared one is what comes with the price. This didn't cause any problems though.
tiny tv just sat on a chair , kettle lead very short had put kettle on the floor.
lounge dated decor
small walk to Abbey hotel to eat breakfast in there, breakfast room was cold some of the food ie sausages and bacon were luke warm.
The single room was clean and functional, but very small and overly warm.
Nothing.
all the stairs to room 5 on the top floor
shared bathroom.
We stayed at the B and B extension and our shared loo smelt unpleasantly of urine. It is a mistake to have such a room carpeted.
????.
Too many things did not work I.e Two lights and the television. Room was
on the small side for two.
Walk into town, sharing one shower between 4 rooms which included families.
I stayed in the Grisnoir and the lack of signage made it difficult to find. Admittedly, there was road-works near the hotel which didn`t help. I was fortunate to find the last parking space at Abbey Court otherwise it was a walk from wherever you parked the car.
No hot water in room. Room damp. Expensive for a room with no ensuite.
Staff in the Abbey Court Hotel (where you eat breakfast and check-in) were awful - rude, poor communication, very slow service at breakfast.
