  The bed was the most comfortable bed i've ever slept in!! I also asked if we could extend the check out by an hour which was no problem. - Service and helpfullness of staff.Good food.

La Roche is a beautiful house and the room I stayed in was luxurious, clean and comfortable. They were really helpful about what to see and the best way of getting there. Breakfasts were - David and Jane were probably the friendliest and nicest B&B owners I've ever met. Had a nice long chat, they offered a glass of wine and they were very interesting people. The room was also very nice and clean. They really helped make my stay in Guernsey memorable and enjoyable.

  What is there not to like? The staff are simply brilliant - it's really nice to be recognised and addressed by name. We had a great room with a sea view. The bars are very good as are the restaurants and yes you really must try the Governors Indian cuisine at its best!!   The room was good size very clean and fresh and the hotel food was great .I stay in hotels every week and this was one of the best stays I have experienced will be back .thanks to all the staff - The health suite and early check in. The breakfast was very good too.

The hotel is in a great location, good bus links to the rest of the island. Great walks, your right on the sea front.   Lady on reception was extremely friendly and helpful. We had not checked that the bed in our room would have no foot-board (I am 6'3") but she changed it to one without quickly and without fuss.
