    Close to everything, good beds, verry warm in the room, electronic lockers 1,5 pound a day under the bed (good), breakfast: cereal, toast, jam, milk, tea, coffee (as much as you like), free use of the big kitchen (use of fridge). If you need a hostel close to everyting this is it, don't compl... what people say » ain about little things, you get a good value for you money here, I have seen a lot worse!! - an excellent place for staying with 46 teenagers. good location, nice people, staff and location. always clean and perfect for young visitors who use their parents´ money, safety and a "spying eye" on the visitors. security guys visible but not too pushing or harrassing.     We stayed in the hotel part but met backpackers in the bar. It was clean, friendly and in an easy spot to get around with buses and tube stop within a 3 minute walk. Kettle in the room for the morning coffee was appreciated greatly. Really pleasantly surprised for what they charge.     I asked them not to be on the first floor after reading the comments and they gave us a nice room on the upper floor. Receptionists are very kind. Nice bar just next door. Common kitchen on each floor. Good price for a nice stay. - for London area the price was reasonable. Facility was basic 'hostel' but clean.     I was popping up to london for 2 days for college interviews, and after looking at the price of some hotels it seemed stupid paying near enough £200! I choose a room in a female only dorm,I'd never stayed in a group room before but it was fine, my expectations were majorly exceeded! The bed was really comfy, clean and although I was sharing a room... what people say » with other people it wasnt a problem at all, the other girls were lovely, and the shower facilities were handy each morning. I don't think ill ever b - The equipment is amazing (other than the very small kitchen), particularly the room (I was in a 4-bed) displayed a very high standard. The breakfast was decent (no fruit anymore though, as visitors had stated in previous reviews). Wifi at the ground floor and nice ares to sit, relax or even work. The location is certainly not central, but Oxford street is 20 mins away and the Jubilee Line will drop you off at St. Paul's or Buckingham Palace in not much more time.     i liked that the beds were comfortable and the fellow guests were reasonably considerate. i liked the fact that i was not treated as just another number and was able to book in my valuables for safekeeping and build a relationship with the reception throughout my stay - The position was great, I never felt threatened in the area.     I loved the location - just further up the road from Earls Court tube station - also the hot showers, very comfortable beds and room facilities..ample plug sockets, washbasin in room and an very handy underbed store (bring your own padlock!) for things you don't want to carry round whilst sightseeing...There is also a lounge area with TV and inter... what people say » net (£1 20 mins £3 for 1 hour)..The free luggage storage facilities were a bonus, so I didn't have to carry heavy luggage on the last day...Finally, a - I like the no fuss "fit for purpose" room accommodation which fitted my budget visiting London. The rooms and beds are clean. The shared toilets and bathrooms are cleaned daily. The proximity to Earls Crt station and within Zone 1 Underground stations met my touristy needs. We also needed the kitchen facilities and coin operated clothes washing & drying equipment . The free brochures and information on London & UK available in the lounge is most helpful to overseas travellers like me!

    Location is great, though have to walk 5 minutes from Elephant & Castle Underground station. Staff is super friendly, as they really helpful on helping me to get into all female-dorm.     Clink was very nice hostel, really good value for money! Stuff was excelent, there are useful utilities like a luggage room, breakfast was surprisingly wealthy and showers clean. Although very close to St Pancras station really quiet during nights thanks the windows into the courtyard.     Unforgettable fabulous stay in London Thanks to letsbookhotel.com, I have been fortunate enough to stay at The Hotel Strand Continental for an affordable price, during my recent trip to London. The Hotel Strand Continental is located at a privileged point, in London’s west end; 2 steps far from King’s College London, very near from The River Thame... what people say » s through Waterloo Bridge, in addition to some of the most important sightseeing attractions such as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, London Eye, Sa - Location! Right next to Somerset House. 5 min walk to Temple underground tube. No frills but no unexpected nasty bits. Tea/coffee in room, towels provided, there was clean bedding. Breakfast was good, cereal, toast, juice and tea and coffee as much as you'd like. There was stairs but we didn't mind. We arrived at 10am and our room had already been cleaned so we were told to go straight in. Lovely. Would stay here again

    The location was ideal, just a short walk to lambeth north and straight onto bakerloo line. You could get to the london eye in about 12 minutes. I was booked into a 15 bed dorm but was put in a 6 bed female so that was a bonus as a single traveller staying for 4 nts. The bed was comfy and the sheets were clean, I was in room 13 which was on the gr... what people say » ound floor right next to the toilets and the shower, another bonus. Breakfast was ok, limited items, ceral and bread for taosting. If you wernt quivk - I liked all, all the Hostel was perfect, the staff were pleasant and they resolved all my doubts, and all, because i had a small problem with the plug and they were very attent to give me a solution. The ubication of the hostel is perfect, only 10 or 15 min to Weistminster, and very close from the Lambeth North underground. The hostel was absolutly clean and is a very good place to meet people from different countries. I recommend this hostel, is very nice

    I liked that it was always clean everywhere and that the staff were always so nice and helpfull. I also liked that the hotel was open 24/7 so you didn't have to worry about getting back there too late. Another thing that I appreciated were the guards outside when it got late, because it felt more safe. The bar and the other rooms downstairs wher... what people say » e you could hang out were also brilliant! All in all I'm very happy with my stay there and I'd recommend The Generator to anyone going to London - The bar in the hostel is awesome. The general atmosphere of the place is great - definitely the way to go if you want to meet other young people and have a damn good time. Drinks prices in the bar weren't too bad - £2.20 on all drinks (except doubles!) and the kareoke was fun. Staff were very friendly too.

    i wish i had known about this hostel on previous visits to london. it is budget friendly, clean, quiet and just what i need or anyone would need when visiting london for business or fun-a place to sleep at the end of the day! the best thing is that it also has a fridge in each room. the bathrooms and showers are clean. thank you again. i will defi... what people say » nately be staying there again. - It was located directly across the street from the metro/subway stop, which made getting around in London quite easy. There was also a small supermarket just a few buildings down the street - and you could purchase your morning coffee just inside the subway stop.

    I liked the staff there and the best was the man. He was service-minded and spoke with me much. He was very patient. I was happy about the location near to the river and the many bridges. The relaxed and cool style attracted me. - The stuff are really nice! All of them. Comfortable, best area-near to everything, in the heart of the city.
