loved the frendlyness of the staff and fantastic food, - Delightful setting, staying at the village pub enhanced the experience of rural England. Food in the restaurant was excellent, and there was a selection of good real ale. Staff were fantastic, and the rooms clean and cosy. Just a short 1/2 mile walk along the path opposite the hotel to the centre of Bideford. Breakfast was very good, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Cycle hire on the Tarka Trail in approx 1 mile away. The view from the bedroom and dining room over the fiver was superb.
