  This was a perfect break. The staff are such a friendly team and really go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed. The views out over the fells make you feel relaxed in the first 5 minutes.   The staff were exceptional in every manner. Each one we spoke to were very polite and accomodating, especially when booking out as we were leaving at 6am the next morning and they prepared a fantastic breakfast which was delivered 30mins before we departed at 5:30am. The reception staff were very polite and helpful, the staff in the breakfast room... what people say » always had time for us, never rushed. - The room was excellent; clean, bed comfy, tea/coffee/chocolate making facilities, information about the area in a folder, room service brilliant, breakfast included was excellent and you could have as much as you liked. Staff very polite and helpful, could not fault anything.

  i only stayed one night but it could not have been better.the hotel setting is in such lovely surroundings. - Everything, it looked lovely on arrival, the staff were helpful, thepool etc were a bonus.

  All staff were very friendly, yet efficient and professional. The room was better than I expected for the price. We were given a free room upgrade on arrival.   I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff, wonderful choice and quality of breakfasts. The owner, told me he used to own a fish restaurant so that's obviously why the fish dishes are so perfect. Modern, bright up to date bedroom with a fabulous power shower. Safe and easy walk to both Windermere and Bowness. Food was unbelievable. Huge choice and excellent quality. Dining room is modern and there was a good atmosphere at breakfast time. Staff were efficient and friendly. Our budget room was clean and cofortable. Perfect for our stay. Limited parking on the premises but lots of free and unrestricted parkining across the road.
