  We were absolutely delighted with everything about the Hotel. Room and en-suite facilities were very good. Food was excellent and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. Very impressed. - the hotel, was exactly what we wanted. was situated well on high street, but not at all noisy. nice... what people say » , cosy bar downstairs, with log fire. food was fantastic, and couldnt wait to have breakfast for a second time.

  So typical English - just loved it! - Many of the reviews of this hotel are extremely negative. We found courteous staff (native English speakers too, not as some reviews would have it), an excellent breakfast and a comfortable bed. Maybe the decor is a little tired, but we hope that the character of the place is retained after the impending revamp... what people say » .

  Extremely friendly and accomodating service - very relaxed and made you feel at home. Very good quality food. Lovely clean room with exposed brick walls and nicely chosen dark wood furniture. Very nice en-suite bathroom which had all the added extras you'd expect from a quality hotel. Very good location with great local amenities and restaurants p... what people say » lus in easy reach of other tourist towns in the Cotswolds. Extremely good value for money given the quality and location. - Staff were very welcoming & helpful. After a late return @ the Bell Inn in the night , we had a knock @1000 am to see if We still want breakfast ( served till 1000 am) It was much appreciated as otherwise We would have missed it. Staff were all very friendly & welcoming. The Room was cosy & clean & plenty of electric heater to keep the room warm as it is an old style "cottagy" room. Loads of character.
