  Very friendly atmosphere and really feel at home without doubt. Lovely place, decorated with beautiful antiques which add character. Freshly cooked breakfast by the proprietor, Alex. He certainly deserves an award delicated to - A family run hotel in an Edwardian house retaining its period charm, situated on the hill above Minehead. We had a double aspect room with far reaching views over the sea and wooded hills. A peaceful location and a good base to explore the area including the West Somerset Railway and Exmoor National Park. Good cooked breakfast. Free parking on the quiet street (beyond the pay and display area), about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach or town centre. We found the hotel to be very comfortable and

  Excellent staff and a very clean hotel , the current owners have not been in this hotel for very long but are making it a very nice place to stay , they do everything they can to make your stay a pleasant one and nothing seams too much trouble , we did not use the restaurant as the bar meals were good value and the relaxed atmosphere of the bar ar... what people say » ea was to our personal liking but if we stay again we would try the restaurant , once the new owners have put there mark on the rest of the hotel it w - Hotel room and hotel in general very clean. Breakfast was good but a bit overpriced at £12. Car parking on site adequate. Room was cold on arrival and told heating was off, but electric heater delivered to room promptly and problem solved.

  Our welcome from the friendly owners with cake and a cup of tea was very much appreciated after a 200 miles journey. The bedroom had superb views and was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. The dining room and the lounge were up to the same standard and the Aga cooked breakfast was delicious.
