handy for shoping , ñear to airport .Good meals at the cafe bar. proximity to airport and good value for single traveller.the bar underneath the hotel. it was all excellent my husband is a doctor and had worked two straight nights and needed to sleep the whole day no one complained and tghe cleaning staff were very understanding. excellent staff...excellent breakfast....well located. all reviews »
Manchester united beating Roma on big screen in bar. Televisions with Sky Sports shown and table service.. All in all, a pleasent experience. Friendly staff.Central location and good food. value for money, parking and central location. near from the airport. Ok except television did not work. Not reported as only there one nightfrom quite late. central and closeby to the Luton Airport. Very near my training course. nice 4 young people. close to luton airport. it was central to the location, hotel staff were good,. Close and easy access to the airport.convenience to airport. Rooms could be updated Damage to tiles in room 1. TV could be larger,but overall ok. long walk to the room but it wasnt too bad. My room was fronting on to a road so it was a little noisy, traffic, etc. Other than that all O.K. No lift to rooms. I think the room was a 'smoking' room. If I had known I would have asked for a non-smoking room. the way the bill was given. No clear bill. Bed is not so good. Bathroom had chipped tiles, broken toilet seat, Meal at the hotel was the worst we had all trip - warmed up, tough, chewy. We had to wait 50mins for breakfast... not good !!!. the hotel rooms are in dire need of upgrading, standard and cleanliness were very poor. Really noisy with the pub downstairs, and tough to sleep with someone talking outside window. The room condition is ok, but not sound-proof.no heating.. little staff assistance. The whole set up! There was no access to the bedrooms, unless you rang a bell to get one of the staff to open the door to the hotel!.

Our regularly updated bar menu is available until late. Offering special mid week offers and discounts, there is something for everyone including sharers, light meals, mains and desserts. Breakfast is available from 7am weekdays, 8am Saturdays and 10am Sundays.
Important information to guests
The hotel's car park is closed from 17 November 2009 until 05 January 2010. There is another parking option a 5-minute walk away from the hotel.
Children are not allowed in the bar.
Brookes has a late bar on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, which may affect the noise levels in the hotel.

Travelling information
By Car:
- Leave the M1 at junction 10 for Luton.
- Take the 1st exit at the roundabout, London Road, signposted for the town centre.
- Follow the road down the hill and through 2 sets of traffic lights (past Stockwood Golf Club and Matalan on the left).
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit straight over (Staples Office Supplies on the corner).
- At the traffic lights, turn left then immediately right into Brookes & Red Lion Lodge car park.
Car Park:
Please note the car park is for hotel and meeting room guests only. Please register with reception and obtain a parking permit to be displayed in your vehicle. Any vehicles not displaying a valid parking permit or parked anywhere other than in a marked bay may be clamped.
Temporary Parking Arrangements:
From 21 November 2008 until 07 January 2009, on-site parking will not be available. There is, however, parking available nearby on Flowers Way (please collect a parking permit from reception before you park, as the car park is operated by a different company).
