What people say
The room was very clean and bright with a comfortable bed. The hotel was
just what you’d expect a two star hotel to be nothing fancy but all the
basics catered for and in a lovely period building. On arrival I was
greeted by a pleasant lady on reception, who was very efficient. I did
ask her where the lift was, to which she replied that they did not have
a lift, but she did point out to me that this was all mentioned on the
website, I checked later and sure enough its there in black and white s. all reviews »

- the table and chairs in the room
- the view from the window

- the wifi
- plenty of toiletries (but see the other side for a downside)

The hotel's suberb location offers easy access to transport, the city and attractions. The staff is friendly and very helpful. It is very clean and tidy. You will receive a warm welcome and excellent service. Although the hotel is at the heart of London, it is very peaceful with relaxing and cosy atmosphere. I enjoyed every moment of my stay and would highly reccommend it to everyone.
Although not pretty from the outside, the room was small, but very clean. The bathroom was new and immaculate. Staff cleaned the bathroom and made my bed daily.
The bed was comfortable and a TV was present, mounted in the corner.
Hotel staff were very polite, welcoming and helpful; they allowed me to leave my bags downstairs for 8 hours prior to checking in.
- location
- balcony and the view
- comfy bed
- good sized warm room
- wooden floors rather than carpet
- modern clean bathroom
- interior décor of the hotel
- value for money
- both Andreas on arrival and the young lady at the reception the next day were lovely welcoming people.
The bedroom was split-level with stairs to the mezannine where the bed was. This gave more room downstairs. Tea and coffee making facilities, small table and chairs. Little balcony. Good size shower room. Quiet street, yet very close to Earls Court.
Very clean and comfortable room. Very pleasant stay and staff was friendly. Just problem to connect to wifi for 2 nights even if they tried to sort it out. . I stayed 5 night. I recommend this hotel for budget- friendly reasons. Will go back there.
Andres was very helpful and accommodating. When the internet was down he helped us out. We really appreciated his service. The hotel had a lot of character and was close to the train station.
Staff was very helpful and the rooms were refubrished. With air con and nice view from the window. Location was excellent. 3 minutes walking from the Earl's Court and only 2 minutes from Tesco.
Hotel had everything I needed as a visitor of London. Clean room, good location and reasonable price. Staff was nice and friendly and willing regarding all our requests which I do appreciate:).
Basic but clean accommodation
Friendly welcome
Quiet location but really close to main street
Reasonably priced for Central London - Happy to Self cater for the price of room.
Room was clean and tidy. Fantastic, roomy power shower although the bathroom itself wasn't the biggest. Friendly staff and five minutes from Earl's Court tube station.
Well located, convenient. Near two large supermarkets where good service
and cheap. There is a place of cheap souvenirs. Snack is easy and
convenient, good transport.
great location clean comfy warm rooms with kettle coffee tea hairdryer and an iron - rooms are a lot nicer than the public corridors would lead you to believe.
Excellent position, 5 mins far from Earl's Court tube station.
Clean, cosy room, wooden floor, comfy bed, nice view over Nevern Square as I got the top floor.
the location is great, close to the tube station where the tube can get to Heathrow airport directly and the room is clean. The money is highly valued!.
The Paramount defies the usual run of budget hotels in that the rooms are actually much better looking than the outside or lobby and stairs area.
The hotel was excellent value for money excellent location, and the hotel manager was absolutely wonderful and couldnt do enough for us.
The hotel was in a great location with shops and the tube only a 5 minute wall away, it was quite comfortable and the staff were helpful.
The tidiness of the room and particularly the location of the hotel as there were lots of shops, restaurants and bars very close by.
The location and the cleanliness of the room were really good, the staff were friednly though one had very little contact to them.
The Location, the beautiful buildings around the hotel, the park opposite the hotel, the balcony. It was also nice and quiet.
1. Great location,
2. Near to piccadilly line's tube station.
3. Lots of great restaurants in walking distance.
4. Clean room.
Location was good, kind and helpful receptionist.
The room were light and with nice furniture, but our rooms were too small.
The location was great, close to transport links and restaurants. The price was affordable and overall good value for money.
Large room with a loft! Remodeled. Nice view. Huge windows. Table and chairs in the room. Garden out back.
Good location, convenient for the Underground and plenty of supermarkets, shops and restaurants nearby.
Value for money, Staff very nice, rooms pleasant, shower ok, comfortable bed, clean, location.
Very friendly staff, very close to underground, restaurants, clean,
comfortable beds.
Even though it is very reasonably priced they have made a real effort with the rooms.
Lovely bathrooms, and really very good value, great location, comfortable and warm.
location
good transport links
there was many cafes and shops around
cozy room.
Excellent budget hotel for a family wanting to stay in a room together.
Value for money, clean and comfortable hotel in a fantastic location.
Good transportation, clean room, quiet place.3 Minutes from Tesco.
clean, tidy & friendly.
Good supply of tea/coffee/milk etc.
Friendly staff; pleasant topfloor room; close to tube station.
Room was safe and nice and clean and was in a great location.
Large clean triple room for£60 in a very convenient location.
Location close to tube. Hotel fine just for overnight stay.
Staff were friendly and room was clean and comfortable.
Incredibly friendly night staff and very accommodating.
Very comfortable, quiet and clean, I like the style.
Very good localization
Very charming hotel.
Very friendly staff
Very comfortable beds.
Very cosy hotel in a very good location.
Cleanliness, service, price, location.
Everything was up to its own standard.
Excellent location, great value!.
Very good value for money.
- Too hot in room because heat rose to the mezzanine level - air con
would be good
- not enough towels - needed a bath mat in the bathroom and hand towels
- toiletries in bottles would have been preferable to sachets.
None.
Internet connection was useable, but weak.
Room was much smaller than I'd anticipated; much smaller than shown in available photos.
- kettle had scale inside but we were able to grab hot water downstairs.
The stairs to the mezannine were steep, and low ceiling height over the bed. Fine for me at 5`4`` but someone over 6ft would have to bend.
The kitchen was difficult to figure out and there were no dishes of any sort to be used. Also, our room was on the 4th floor so we had 89 steps every time. Good workout but a little hard with the luggage!.
hallway and stairs a bit tired looking - no breakfast.
Shower cubicle not perfectly sealed as some water leaked through the bathroom floor.
the bath room is too tiny.
Nothing.
The toilet was a bit small but on the other hand at least we had an ensuite.
The noise from other residents at times. The radiator wouldn't come on although the room was very warm without.
Everything was okay, but as I was there with a girlfriend, it would have been nice not to have to share a bed, but to have two single - separate! - beds.
Our room had a small stairs connecting the entrance area/bathroom to the bed on the level above. It creaked when we walked on it and the newal post and balustrade was very shaky. Apart from that it was great.
1. No lifts. Traveller with large luggage may have to carry it by stairs.
2. Wifi is only available in lobby.
Rooms too small.
Our room was a bit small but comfortable and functional. We weren't expecting anything too fancy considering the price, so it wasn't a disappointment. The wifi wasn't working properly.
No lift.
Sink very small, to the point its inconvenient to use, shower is ok, nothing great. TV very small. Not much reception on phone/ internet as my room was under ground.
Nothing. A little problem with the warmer was quickly solved.
Nothing!.
Very thin walls in my room. I could hear everything going on next door. In my room 35? top floor I couldn't watch the TV as it was at a difficult, unchangeable angle that made everythin on the screen darker, similar to a thermal image.
there was no kitchen
we didn`t find a microwave and fridge.
Beds a bit hard.
nothing.
Stairs to 3rd floor (but, to be fair, we did know that there was no lift).
lot of stairs; no blinds on the windows.
The 90 stairs I had to climb to our room as it was the top floor and there is no lift.
Lack of breakfast faclities.
TV hard to operate with remote as it was positioned very high on the wall near to the ceiling. The shower water did not drain very quickly meaning you had to stand in a puddle of water whilst showering.
The wireless network sometimes doesn't work.
Very bad soud insulation between rooms
No shampoo in the rooms.
I did not notice on the website that there was no elevator at the hotel!!!! My mother is 70 years old and taking the stairs up to the latest floor was a real unexpected challenge!!!.
No break fast.
Claustrophobic size of the room. The smallest double hotel room ever seen.

The night porter was very rude to my partner.
