The staff were very friendly and made you feel very welcome,we were visiting Albert Hall and was pleasantly surprised the staff remembered the next day,it was the personel touch that made it special and breakfast was good value too. We only stayed for one night but found it to be excellent in all areas should we need accomadation in london again you will be our first contact, thanks for helping make our stay in london such a happy one..
all reviews » location to the metro, the room was quiet even though it overlooked a busy street, the Restaurant in the hotel was excellent. Good location, friendly staff. decent room. We wanted a reasonably priced, clean hotel room for the night, close to the Royal Albert Hall and this is what we got.I liked how well the hotel is located, it is very close to the underground and many good restaurants are close by. The bathroom was in need of updating, a large crack across the wash basin. It was central and near to local underground station. The showers, lift and bar could do with an up-date.Breakfast needs improvement. It was regrettable that the window had not opened though it was a room where it faced the street.Because it was cold in the temperature, the air conditioner did not work easily and it was cold. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room as promised, and the room and bathroom, were of a good size, but quite dated in deocr, etc.The en-suite was rather on the small side but as we were only staying for one night this was not really a problem. I didn't like the breakfast.The bathroom was tiny. There was no bath mat provided. But I guess the facilities like the big TV, and internet compensated. Time of breakfast a bit late. The elevator was tiny, tiny and slow!! The toast at breakfast was dry and burnt. Parking could be a problem. rooms alittle small, bathroom extremely small. The breakfast could be better. However I had read the reviews and knew what expected by the hotel.A little noisy - I was near an access route. Did not supply shampoo or shower gel (did supply bar of soap though), also would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in room. The hotel is past it's prime, looks a lot better on the website than it does in the flash. Not enough toels. Low waterpressure, it takes ages to wash your hair. Not sure about the blankets on the bed... The room was quite warm and we had continous traffic noise. Breakfast was poor. Room too small and had to ask for any extras. They would turn off the air conditioning when they cleaned so room was stuffy when we returned. They do not supply washcloths.Bathrooms were very small. Breakfast was rather basic. Advert advised iron and ironing board and tea/coffee facilities which weren't there. Gad to ask for extra towels as they were so small and no mat in the shower room, not good considering it was a tiled floor.Breakfast is Minimal! Toasts and coffee only:. I've had better showers!. below street level room. Shower , problems with the hot water .The complimenary continental breakfast, could have been better. If a selectiobn of bread for tasot was offered rather than white and possibly some croissants as an option offered?.
