Friendliness of the staff from the concierge, the receptionists, bar staff and restaurant staff. All very courteous and helpful. Location was excellent for theatres and shopping. Meals were delicious and not too pricey. the upgrade when I arrived was much appreciated, your hotel is really lovely and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, I was given a detailed map when I asked for directions to a store.

Also- the hotel restaurant was much too cold to eat in. Could not get a dinner booking until 7pm. Size of the room was extremely small so we had to upgrade. wait for table at breakfast, buffet not great, not 4*. the rooms are very small.i payed sumfin like £276 for 1 nite with my gal. had the queen duluxe suite and when i got into the room late at nite, realised the queen size bed was 2 beds pushed together unlike the 1 big bed i expected. when i checked out i said about the bed and they said some rooms are like that and i was unlucky. i payed top price for 1 nites stay so id expect what i payed for. never go back there again. The reception charge for one person breakfast 23 pounds ...theinformation is 12 pounds.

From North: m1, a5 signposted Cricklewood. Follow Edgeware Road to Marble Arch. Follow Park Lane to Hyde Park Corner, turn left to Piccadilly and first right into Duke Street. Hotel is situated directly behind Fortnum and Mason's, the department store. From West Southwest: m3, a316 at Sunbury-on-Thames, continue to Talgarth roundabout which becomes Talgarth Road. Proceed over the Hammersmith flyover which becomes Cromwell Road. Cromwell Road runs into Knightsbridge along by Harrods on your right. Take tunnel at Hyde Park Corner, along Piccadilly. Take first turning into Duke Street.
