Friendly, helpful staff. Location just round the corner from Paddington made getting into London very easy. Despite our room not having a fridge, staff were very happy to store food in their fridge which meant our packed lunch and baby food stayed fresh and useful for our entire stay.
This hotel was in an excellent location - a stone's throw from Paddington station. This was a single room which was very small, but this is to be expected for the money. Staff were very courteous, helpful and friendly. Recommended for a low priced Zone 1 hotel.all reviews »
It was a quiet, pleasant, self-contained room in a very hectic area of London. The staff were very friendly.I could afford it on a limited budget. It was perfectly fine for a three day London visit.Norfolk Square is lovely. I overlooked it .
The hotel is in a great Location, the rooms are fine for the cost, the bathroom is modern and everything works, what more could you ask for at a budget price. The staff and the breakfast are both to be recommended.
Hotel is very nice and clean, great value for money and very good english breakfast with hot waffles, good location, very clean rooms. Real city hotel for visiting London.
Friendly staff and great location, paddington station, which links heathrow to most of central london's tube is just a short walk away.

Friendly and helpful staff.
Very quiet and pretty location. A few convenience shops and cafe located 1 minute walk away which is useful for coffee/water/snacks when needed. Less than 5 minute walk to Paddington underground station which connects to rest of the city.
Location is great for West London we were going to the Albert Hall and its only a walk across Hyde Park.

Lack of a lift made getting to our 3rd floor room a little annoying, however at the time of day we checked in there were porters available to carry our bags up. Rather cramped bathroom.
I would appreciate another or larger bath towel. Otherwise, i felt satisfied with the standard of the provision in relation to the cost.
For older people, and maybe guests with young children, the rooms on the upper floors may be an issue as there is no lift. Otherwise, excellent value for money.
you need to pay for wifi.
No wifi.
No lift, and someone keep dropping somehing in the middle of the nigth.
Dining room very small, bathrooms so small you couldn't dry yourself in there you had to come out into the room which would have been embarrassing if you were a group of friends, we were a family so it was ok.
No lift.
Small rooms, the breakfast is poor.
Extra charges for wifi and coffee facilities.
Steep stairs
Slightly dodgy plumbing.
second room really uncomfortable bed.
The stairs, we were the top floor. As you got higher the stairs got
narrower and steeper, no lifts available, handling luggage was
difficult. My husband was traveling with a bike (in a case at that
point) the hotel stored it for us down stairs, there was no way we would
have been able to get it to our room.
if you stay in the hotel in winter time then the heating system will be a big disadvantage as room stay cold despite turning the temperature control of the radiator to max.
Bed linen was with grease stains, no elevator - hard to get to 4th floor
with the luggage.
ten pounds just to use a TV remote is ridiculous; no phone in room; breakfast ends at 9:15 am and was bad; bed was uncomfortable; bed squeaked loudly every time I moved.
Hotel seemed run down.
Everything except location.
broken window
dirty carpet
no soap
no service
no lift
etc.
Found cockroach on floor day two, Toilet dripped, no mirror in bedroom, no hair dryer available in three days, must leave deposit for tv remote, located above the tube do you feel vibrations all the time.
