Everything was bad. First of all the name of marble Arch residence wasn't exist and it's Park West building. Second, there is no reception and you have to go to their office which is 300 meters. Thirdly, the corridors was smelly, the flat was dirty and old. The towels and sheets was smelly we had to buy new one. The bathroom was dirty we had to clean it ourselves. all reviews » I really enjoyed my stay. The staff ordered a taxi for us to go to the apartment and then back to the airport. We chose the express check-in and it was really quick and hassle-free. We found coffee, tea, hot chocolate and more in the kitchen free of charge. The apartment was very clean and had a modern decoration. It's good value for money and will definetely be staying there again. We are a family of five and stayed in a three bedroom apartment on 8th floor at 1-2Crawford Place. Location was fantastic - easy walking distance to everywhere we were going - Hyde Park, museums, Oxford St, tube station. Apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Maria was very helpful with airport transfers/checking in and out. Proximity to event we were attending in Hyde Park and surrounding facilities were great. Plumbing issue repairs were attended too immediately by fabulous plumber. Good Internet. Cleaning service were great. Supermarket and shops very close. Public transport close by. The hotel was very centrally located. A short walk to Paddington Station Marble Arch station or Baker Street station. There were plenty of Middle Eastern restaurants close by as well as plenty of supermarkets. The facility to use were adequate for our needs. The apartment was very conveniently situated in the centre and having everything we needed for our family stay. It was close to the tube, to the shops and Hyde park. The taxi driver from the airport became quite aggressive when we didn't actually know where to go. The property is not actually called marble arch residence. If you book this hotel I suggest you email the representatives and get Exact instructions on how to get there and the exact address. When will we rang Reps to find out how to get to the hotel they were extremely helpful. Too dark in the room, as the apartment is situated on the ground floor, no view through the window. Taxi was delayed by 10 mins. cleaness can be better, we observed rats and small ants in the building too much noise from the street. The flat required cleaning and we asked more than once but no one came by. Ants in the bathroom, not enough towels, bad quality linen, not perfectly clean, no shower curtain (!), only 1 key for two people, kind of a mixed neighborhood, the building isn't terribly classy, not enough soap/toiletries, no reading lights... With a shower curtain, more soap, a little cleaner, more towels, and two keys I'd give it 4 stars. Small bed not good enough for couples. Some misunderstanding when we booked in (we didn't go to the right place), but the staff was very nice and helpful. No room Service available One key only available for the main door of the building. There was an incident with previous occupants before we checked in. The staff handled it well but it impacted our stay because the previous occupants trashed the place and there were things missing as a result. Not the staff's fault but it was an impact. Also, the apartment is in a noisy neighbourhood so if you're not used to city traffic noise or large cities in general, you could be put off by the location. Washing machine not working. Lift a bit cramped and can only fit 4 persons comfortably. No dvd player although it's availability was stated when booking. Although Daniela was very helpful with the checking in & getting transportation, getting someone to come and fix the washing machine and do the cleaning was difficult. Studio rooms were damp and smelly. It was very cramped, especially the bedroom area - you had to crawl up from the bottom of the bed to get in it! The name marble arch residence does not exist ,we did not find this name , not worth money , bath room narrow ,it's flat for student more than family ,kitchen was full of ants , we were there 10 days they come to clean one time . ..........sorry there many places for sure better than this. Very old & dirty. Full of chockroaches & mosquitos. Very noisy especailly at night which makes it impossible to sleep. everything was bad, no reception and when we arrived the guy came late to give us the keys , a lot of bugs in the apartment and its shwing poo hygene, pictures in booking shows a big apartment and in reallity its almost half the size , underground station is not close by , a lot of noise at night time and it really feels unsecure , a bad smell all around the place, elevator is damaged. and the list goes on and on.
