The room was agreeably large and tastefully decorated with a modern bathroom. The few members of staff we dealt with were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is a 25 minute walk from St Pancreas, and we avoided public transport entirely during our stay. Lovely big comfortable bed, great location.polite staff, lovely room, good standard of cleanliness, everything and everyone well presented .... we enjoyed our stay. all reviews »
Location of the hotel.The friendly staff, location of hotel. I found the breakfast ridiculously overpriced; consequently, we did not take breakfast at the hotel but ate in the neighborhood for 1/3 the price.We stayed in a basement room at the front of the hotel and were woken very early Sunday morning by someone sorting out the rubbish and then the noise of the refuse collection, people coming in/out of the hotel and the maid knocking on someone's room door - basement room not a good idea, unless you are early risers like ourselves, same though for once it would have been nice to have had a lying. I think breakfast should have been included in the price.Very small rooms and unreasonable expensive breakfast. The rooms were very small, fine for a weekend but for a longer stay claustrofobic. And it was hard to understand why we had to stand in line very long for everything at the frontdesk, while there were three persons behind it, but only one who seemed to know what had to be done.
