The location was great - close to both the Paddington and Lancaster stations. And so travelling around London was so convenient.

Climbing up 3 flights of stairs with luggages was extremely challenging.

Only issue, being a light sleeper was the road noise, which did not affect my wife so it must be me?

I really liked the staff especially the recepcionist Tatiana. She is very friendly and is ready to help.

I was a little bit disappointed when I saw the room but it was my mistake as I didn't think about it beforehand. It was my second stay in this hotel and I can say that I assume that a bathroom is not well equipped: I think it needs more shelves for putting some things, also there have to be a toothpaste , some cotton pads and etc. Also, it is not comfortable to take a shower because there are no hooks for hanging some clothes.

Great staff! They are very helpfull and jovial. Room's size and furniture was in good condition. Bathroom was very clean. I enjoyed staying there and I will choose 27 Paddington Hotel in my next journey. I strongly recommanded it for anyone.

The Hotel was in a good location, It is very difficult to find a room that sleeps 4 people in London,

There was nothing we did not like but I found the stairs hard work after a long day walking in London! We stayed on the top floor and no lift

Very close to the tube station, Paddington so very convenient. Close to lots of shops and restaurants.

The room was in the basement (though there was a window at least). The shower hot/cold handle was hard to turn - I had to have a scalding shower the first morning. I then asked the receptionist, and she said probably the heat would be OK now because the cleaner would have changed it, but it wasn't and the next day I had to speak to a different receptionist to get it sorted.

Excellent location & breakfast. Oxford street shopping area is very close to hotel. Hop -on/off bus stand is next to hotel. Paddington station is 5 min walk. Clean room with en suit good toilet. Will come back again in next summer.

Very clean. Simple modern furnishings. Well-appointed modern bathroom, generous size for a small hotel. Simple but adequate breakfast with good coffee. Short walk to Paddington Stn and Lancaster Gate tube stop.

Mattress too hard. Toilet so high that my feet barely touched the floor.

The staff were friendly, provided us with a ground floor room because we had large bags and there are no lifts. Great location.

The location was very good, close to transport & the Heathrow express. The rooms were very clean,the staff were polite & helpful & breakfast was good.Good value for London.

The rooms were small & no lift, so you had to carry your bags up a few flights of stairs.

The location was perfect, only two blocks from Paddington Station, 10 minutes walk to Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens. Our room was big and light, bathroom was modern. Breakfast was adequate, just toast, croissants, spreads, meat, cheese, cereal, yoghurt and tea/coffee. Free Wifi was great.

Not having a lift when traveling with older guests who couldn't carry their own bags up the stairs which meant multiple trips for myself.

Clean, modern rooms with all the comfort, not very often seen in london. Good simple European breakfast, more than I eat at home (croissants, toast, eggs, jelly and honey, cheese, ham, salami, yoghurt, thea/coffee/hotchoc, orange and apple juice, cereals, yoghurt, ...)

Rooms aren't that big, but hey - it's London, it's clean, modern and with all the comfort.

The room being up lots of stairs.The finishing on the decorating was poor cracked tiles on floor .grout missing inbetween walltiles with spacers visible .only choice of two cereals .

It was clean and modern and had obviously been recently refurbished (except for the carpet). It was conveniently located to Paddington Underground station but down the quieter end of Craven Rd, which was good.

The steep staircase was a bit tight to negotiate with bags but it wasn't a major problem

Close proximity to train station, plenty of fast food or pub nearby. Simple breakfast, basic but enough to start off the day.

Facility does not have Elevator. There are quite many steps if you stay on the higher floors. Ok for young people but stairs can be too much for the elder lies.

La chambre était vraiment grande pour un lit doubleThe room was really big for a double bed which is rare in most hotels around this price. . The bed was big enough not to suffer from the heatwaves and very confortable. Our room had a view on the London Mews, which are very common in the neighborhood. The bathroom had a reasonable size and was very clean and modern, the shower was amazing ! The only downside was the lack of equipments to store your products. The room was on the first floor which was great since the hotel doesn't have a lift. The amount of TV channels with a good flat screen. Also the staff can book you a taxi that has different prices than a regular black cab. A ride to St Pancras Station is 20£ sharp. The location is the best I've seen in London so far ! It's 5min walk from Paddington Station and underground that has about 4 different tube lines, as well as the Lancaster Gate station on the central line, not to mention the amount of buses available ! I highly recommend this hotel that has a very friendly staff, has a great location. It was expensive at this particular time of the year and considering I've booked 1 month before to stay but overall it's the best hotel I've stayed in in London so far !

The major problem was the air conditioning or/and the fact that the room was too warm. As soon as we would walk out the door, there's was a lot of air inside and outside the hotel. The breakfast could have been better but was okay though.

All the staff were very friendly, the hotel was very fresh and clean,comfortable beds and reasonably quiet considering location. It was a very good location, easy for the underground. Good to have a safe in the room, nice decor. The card for the front door was difficult to operate.

The dining room was a little small to accommodate all guests.it would have been nice to have had a pot of tea, rather than just a cup of hot water with a tea bag.

Brilliant location! Left the hotel at 6pm and arrived at Heathrow by 6.25 (on the Express from Paddington). Rooms smallish but v clean.

Able to leave suitcase at Reception during the day after check-out, but no security whatever when collecting it later . a book of cloakroom tickets wouldn't break the bank.

Lots of very narrow stairs to top floor rooms, not a problem for me with just an overnight bag but wouldn't recommend for elderly, disabled or anyone with lots of luggage. Room was on the small side, glad I booked a double although travelling alone.

Polite staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast. The most impotent thing - really good location! There's beautiful Hyde Park next to a hotel, you can easy walk to Oxford street, Paddington underground station's in 5-minutes walk. I like this hotel, I'm going to stay here again :)

For the price, in central London, its very pleasant. Feels like a bed and breakfast. Facilities are basic, but very clean. Very nice shower. Breakfast in the morning was nice to be included - especially for the price.

Fan in the bathroom was quite noisy. We were put on the top floor - so a lot a stairs to climb and no lift. (not that this bothered us, but it might be worth requesting a ground floor room if you can't manage stairs).

The continental breakfast was good, check in straight forward friendly staff, so close to Paddington train station / underground and Lancaster Gate Tube (Central Line). An old property that has been updated well despite the limitations this can sometimes have. For the price excellent.

Hard to criticise in the circumstances of the very good price and location, any criticism would be unfair.

the room was a good size and the bathroom was nicely remodeled. It was very close to the Paddington Tube station. There were a lot of places to eat around the hotel.

The person at the desk was not very friendly or helpful. There were only sheer drapes over the window and it was very bright in the room by 5:00 AM.

Great Location, clean, friendly and helpful staff and our stay was comfortable.

Scolding hot water made it difficult to shower. Could only adjust to make it even hotter than scolding. But it did relax the achy muscles and feet from walking all day.
