Before they could let us into our room, they kept our bags for us, so we could get acquainted with our surroundings.   We had a lovely room overlooking Big Ben and Parliament. The view was so wonderful, the nights were spectacular watching the boats and the river lights. The weather was warm and balmy and the walks along the river embankment were spectacular. The hotel is in a perfect location, the staff superb and the service top notch.   We were very impressed with the facilities. Quite often although a hotel claims to have a gym and pool they rarely offer the sort of quality found at this Novotel. The location was great - Southwark tube is 2 minutes away, St Paul's cathedral is a 15 minute walk and although the location is pretty central, we did not find the area too busy at all.... what people say » There were some nice places to eat near by - cooked breakfast for under a £5 in London! and a great food stall just up the road that serves homemade, - Especially friendly and helpful staff in total, but these 3 persons need an award: the very friendly mechanic who repaired the sink stop in a couple of minutes, the manager of the restaurant on 23.04./24.04.name: Iliantor ? the manager at the reception : Salem the location is fantastic, Globe,Tates, OXO,Thames cruises, tube, all in very short walking distance, was perfect for us! quiet room, nice design very delicious English breakfast in total: we will come again and also recommend this hotel
